Mailed out July 8th,CSC, entry Aug.22 2013,

It took us 5 1/2 months , cr1 and cr2 wife and stepson, take that 2 to 3 thousand dollars(that the lawyer picks from you), buy a new printer/scanner and laptop and follow the guides here and suggestions from those who really know this process and you will be fine.

I already have the letter to the IRS and my state DOR stating that we'll be electing to treat her as a resident for tax purposes ready to go, as well as a signed W-7 and signed Income Tax Forms from her. Just wanted to know what to put in the SSN box. She also signed both letters. I'll be sending it all FedEx to the courier address in the W-7 instructions, as I have read them already and we'll be sending her passport as evidence of her foreign status. Photocopies of all of the Federal forms will be going to my state DOR.

I dont really know what is the visa number on the sticker on the passport..I asked my husband and he said that all is said is " immigrant visa for case MNL2013xxxxx ..ill try to find out from other vj'rs..and ill keep you inform.

Yah congrats to us! my wife done with CFO seminar already, she got it when she applied for new passport cause she used my surname on it. But she still need to go for the sticker she said.

Btw, is that Axxxxxxxx(8 digits) are the Visa Number?

Use mnl number. Takes a day or two ....mine was approved and issued on aug 5, tracking info was visible on the 7th. Delivery on the 8th here in cebu. Hope this helps

Delta's Manila-Narita-Seattle route is the quickest way to get you from Manila to Seattle, so it works great for Chinook and me.

We land Aug 22 on a Thurs 8:55 am and need to catch the next delta flight to Minneapolis at 11:32 am so I am hoping it will be smoothe sailing

There is no packet. The interview email from NVC should also have a PDF of your checklist. thats it.

Actually you can't file single if your married, you can file married filing seperate. As far as the IRS is concerned you are married doesn't matter if she has a SSN or not you are married period.. You can file seperate and get an amendment when she gets here or chase the ITIN like I did, needed the extra cash for airfare if you know what I mean.
