Turns out the only mistake on the form was that he stated the household number as 1, when it should include me, making it 2!

He's gotta fill it in again and over night it tomorrow. Gahhh!! Hope it doesn't delay us too much. Already been on hold for a month thanks to the new version.

Make sure you send in all nine pages, they mentioned that to me when I called on my check list, the first time I sent it I didnt send the last page because it was for if someone else filled it out, doesnt matter they want all nine pages.

I feel lke it's ground hogs day with Bill Murray during this NVC process thanks to the new I-864 debacle

Thanks for the info But my hubby did not applied for fiance visa. we applied for spousal visa the IR1 visa..

Take it from my wife and I, The way NVC has been operating the last two months YOU ARE NOT BEHIND, WE WAITED friggin six weeks for them to be able to read the new I-864 lol, your doing fine and good luck with the rest of your journey.

When did you sent your form?

they recieved my aos package the 3rd of may I mailed it the 2nd of may

Its official they are reveiwing the new I-864 i just recieved a check list on mine today, one decimel off on my gross income, didnt match 1040. Suck I got a check list but at last we know they are reviewing the new form.

I thought I would give an update incase this may be helpful to some in the future, I did recieve my wifes ITIN and my 1040 refund towards the end of May, I sent the w-7 and my paper 1040 in with certified birth certificate and her original Philippines voters ID along with just a copy of her biometrics page on her passport(for good measure), we didnt want to send in her passport in fear of them losing it or her needing it before we got it back, so those two documents worked for us anyway and was two of the documents that were listed on the required forms for ID in the w-7 instructions. Hope this can help.

I called tonight also and the person I talked to said they don't have any idea when they will be able to accept the new forms yet, < instructions for NVC........same OS i have been hearing for a month now

Please let us know what your congressman says. A few people haven't had much luck with theirs at the NVC stage but I'd love to hear different

I am also PEED OFF. Feel like my life is on hold. I just wanna have set plans and arrangements. It's the fact they won't give us any idea of a time frame that gets me. Had enough.

I meant I-864 but you know what I am talking about, I called today also and getting the same response they are not ready to process the new form and blaming it on USCIS, my question is it's all in simple straight forward english, can't they just read the info on the form for goodness sakes!! It's not like its 800 pages long. Just make no sense at all for the excuse they are using, my guess is they are flooding the embassy's with back logged cases running out of interview slots.

I will post the response that my congressman gives me if any. Also will keep updating here in the June NVC filers thread and hope like hell it doesn't make it to the July NVC filers thread.

If it wasn't dealing with our lives this new I-184 form thing with NVC would be quite comical I am calling everyday to be a big pain in their ####### and suggest anyone who is in the same boat to do the same also emailed my congressman liason, typical big government that doesnt know what the right hand is doing from the left, it would be so much faster if USCIS just sent the dang paper work to the embassy, one less place it could FUBAR or lost. I am beyond peed off!!

I am calling everyday from here on out until I get a friggin answer on whats going on with this new I-864 form, I called again today and at first they told me they were waiting for me to send in my forms, I sent in the forms and related paper work a month ago, and told them I used UPS and tracked the packages, she then said she made a mistake and they had all the paper work, they are just waiting to review it?? #######, so then I brought up the question about them not being able to review the new I-864 form, she said that is correct and they are waiting on USCIS to give them the correct procedure---- FUBAR BRO!!!!!!

I called also this morning and getting the same BS waiting to review the AOS, WAITING????? my guess is there is a big friggin logjam at NVC

I think I will call tomorrow and ask if they want me to send the old version???

Has anyone been case completed on the new form yet? I got the same response Friday when I called(back logged because of the new I-864 form) and are reviewing it. Just curious if they completed anyone yet that was using the new form.

Some says if you will be travelling for US for the first time with immigrant visa, there are some airlines who gives discount. But since i got our tickets cheaper, i didnt bother to ask about it. :-)

Oh ok thank you! I am terrified of the cost of tickets this summer! this visa process you can't make advanced purchases because the good ol USA is on their own time line.....whenever they get to it.......I am waiting for my wife and son to have visa in hand before either one of us hops on a plane..it will be a joy to be done with this process and get on with our lives!

We also sent the new form, mailed it out the 1st of May and got there the 3rd, mailed the IV package the 9th of May and recieved the 13th, I called today and still getting the generic-Its not on file yet please wait 20 business days?
