  1. Just wanted to put an update in on my filing jointly with w-7 form with related ID documentation. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!! lol I finally got someone today at the IRS to actually get off the internet and onto their network to see what was going on with my 1040 amd w7, I sent it out March 3rd and have not heard anything, my fault for not sending certified mail so I wasn't even sure if they got it, well she found out that it got rejected and supposivly they sent out a c-567 type of letter april 10, but I still have not recieved anything. I sent my wifes cerified copy of her civil birth certificate and her voters ID, two documents that were suppose to work?? for ID requirements.

We did not want to send her passport for numerous reasons. If I had to do it all over again I would have filed married , seperate instead of married, jointly.

The lady that was so kind to help could not tell why it was rejected but at least I know someone from the IRS actually had their hands on my forms. So I am hoping to recieve some kind of letter from the IRS as to what exactly is going on.

    Thanks, :bonk::blink::crying::whistle:

  2. Yes, NVC received my email that was originally sent to uscis. The NVC customer service rep also confirmed my email address with me after he gave me our case number. I kept on asking him if I can log on and pay the fee immediately. He was the one who informed me that it would take about a week for both me and my hubby to get an email of instructions. The instructions for the fee payment info were to be sent via email (eventually they were)

Make sure to double check with them what email address they have on file when you get your case number.

    Good luck and best wishes!

Thank You and Best wishes to you and your family as well, Good Luck!

  3. Hi, guys! My fiance (petitioner) recently moved to his new home and changed his address via call. He also informed the post office staffs about it. And when I checked our case today, this is what it says:

"On April 11, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance."

I'm hoping they changed it now. I'm just confused because some filers who changed address filed AR-11.

:( Very confused. Can someone enlighten me please.

    God bless you all.

Yes thats the message I had also when I change address on my stepsons petition(forgot to put the p.o. box # on form and didnt recieve hard copy of noa1), some days later they sent a letter saying the same thing. So you should be fine.

  4. Hi! May I ask what did you tell to your Congressman? I also saw your timeline and and yeah it was quick and we are the same, from NBC. What was your local office? If i may ask.

I just wrote an email to my congressman and told him of our imigration and asked if they could be of any assistance, they emailed me back the next day and I filled out a privacy release form that they sent and and they wanted all the information I could provide, I sent the MSC reciept #'s for wife and stepson, and birth certificates and copies of the passport Bio page for each.

Now with USCIS I would get confliciting info as you probably already have read here on VJ,

I had one operator tell me it went to California!!! I think I finally got hold of a tier 2 that actually knew what he was doing and confirmed that it was still at NBC, that was just a few days before I got NOA 2.

Hope this helps and again Good LUCK!!!

  5. Do what you feel is in your heart and your significant others heart, I called my congressman the day I got my reciept number from USCIS from NOA1, then started calling USCIS at least once a week, Twice even, to keep up with any changes. Did it make a difference? I am not sure but it made me feel better!!! I did get my NOA2 in 45 days but like I said coincedence? I believe

God had a lot to do with it also, but thats just my wifes and I beliefs.

    Good Luck!!!!

  6. If you are due a refund, you can check the status of the refund three to four weeks after the IRS receives your tax filing. Follow the instructions here:

    http://www.irs.gov/uac/Checking-the-Status-of-Your-Refund

Yah thats where I have been checking and nothing shows up, I called and the person I talked to said they do the ITIN process first and then the 1040. could take up to 4 to 8 weeks. Just curious if anyone else here filed the same way.
