Oh my god, that is EXACTLY what happened. Just got off webchat with hubby he said he was absolutely positively no question approved, he even asked to make sure. Goddamn CEAC site, making me crazy as hell.

APPROVED !!!!! I can't tell you how overjoyed I am that this part of our visa journey is over. I was only in the Embassy for about forty mins in total, that included waiting in the long queue for the couriers to send back my passport. All in all a very successful & happy day

She should wait to get her medical exam until your I-130 is approved and you have a case complete at the NVC. Also, you need the NVC letter and case number to book the appointment. Even if she were to get it done now, the results could expire before she got her visa and could travel to the US.

Also follow the links given about all the documents for the interview to make sure what you sent NVC is sufficient. CR1s have gotten to their interview and found out they needed a subject access report in addition to the police certificate. Or they got an Oz police certificate without the required fingerprints. Or their I-864 didn't have all the details. Most people are fine, but read all the links in case there is some niggly little thing you didn't send to NVC. The real review of your documentation happens in London so don't assume everything is perfect if NVC passed it on.
On the left size of the same page are links for the medical, courier, security, and I -864 which are useful information.
In the menu bar of Visa Journey you will find Reviews: Embassy. Find London, then read what CR1s have said. They often tell the questions asked. There won't be anything that requires practice unless the hubby doesn't know your name, when you married, and a few simple things like that.

I swear I almost started crying while on the phone to the NVC. This process is so damn stressful and we're almost done.
Totally burst into tears the moment I got off the phone. The first time Ive cried this entire process too.

I usually call really late because you don't have to wait that long.

I just received text message that my mom's case is updated and to check the status online. Online status says Post Decision Activity!
I know April may be over before NVC receives our case, but since there is no May thread yet - I am here.

Nope, you can print the barcode sheet as soon as you pay. It will stay in process and change to Paid in a few days, but since it takes so long for them to review at this point, it makes no difference, just print the barcode right away after paying and send it in.

Ive seen a petition on here that only took 17 days.... I cant believe thats true.. I think they didnt enter the dates right on the chart... Idk.. Lol its all just a waiting game after filing. Some wait days, some weeks & others months and even years... Its not productivly or efficiently worked on so its just hard saying... I do kno my attorney who is a k-1/k-2 visa specialist has informed me after i inquired, that he hasnt had any case go over 8 months in the past 10 years and he also reports that many cases waiting for so long are due to lack of knowledge, inproper filing, ect ect. Errors on the filers behalf.. He also reports this is not the biggest case load uscis has seen and there are more then just 2 workers working on petitions... Attention shifts from 1 petition to another but never fully stops on the other petitions.. And as for the dream act petitions, they mite get extra attention for a short time but only due to the over whelming amount coming in.. The priority is all petitions not just a certain type and they shuffle them around in caseloads actively working on all types... This site is filled with so many ppl complaing!! And i understand the complaints but i dont understand the way people intentionally try n drag others down into their pity party.... Inaccurate info is flying all over this site! Making people lose hope and that makes the waiting seem longer... Stay positive & supportive , my guess is the short time ur waiting wont compare to the lifetime of being 2gether... Like my fiance says... This is just a minute in our forever!! This post may inspire people so stop trying to exploit his happiness becuz your in despair... Ive been on here 4 days maybe 3 now and its all i see!! Its disgusting how derogitory ppl r... Were all here for the same reason and not one of us is better then the other or deserve anything less or more then the next petitioner.. If ur this frustrated maybe u need to find God again... Cuz even wen u lose hope he doesnt!!

I just got off the phone with the NVC, I called to make sure they received the additional copy of my husbands birth certificate (they claimed the original wasn't certified) only to be told they had already scheduled his interview in London! Turns out they approved it before they got the second birth certificate with the condition he brings the original to the interview...so now we have to order another one. Jeez.
The man I spoke with was very nice, and even said "this is not an April Fools joke." Cute!

My NOA2 is March 8 and just yesterday I called them and they said my file has JUST ARRIVED TODAY THERE...the person said to give them another 2 to 4 weeks to input into their systems! I just told her that I'll be calling back on Monday to ask again. She said OK!
