We have our case complete. We have our interview date. Medical is scheduled. NOW WHAT...

Where do the packet 3 & 4 come from? Is there a place to print them offline and I've missed it? Do they send them to the beneficiary? My husband and I are debating because he said it wasn't listed in the checklist they sent that had the list of stuff to bring but when he called the embassy a month ago they told us...

Is there really a packet 3 or is just the 5 pounds of paper documents I shipped to him?

Packet 4 are they gonna mail it or we print it from somewhere?

I know back when we were considering the fiancé visa we saw there was a list of questions the petitioner fills out and then the beneficiary answers during the interview. Is this done for the spouse? If so will they contact me with all the questions?

So close I'm just wanting to make sure I don't mess anything up now near the end. Thanks for any tips!

Packet 4 was the interview letter. Packet 3 was the IV package you sent to the NVC.

Sign up for whatever the UK uses to return your passport (in Canada its dhl/Loomis for example.)

Then relax a little.

Then make sure you have everything you need for the interview. If you want to bring some pictures etc, get those ready.

My husband will be rubbing shoulders at the embassy with Zandra's... literally the same embassy, the same day! He also wanted to know if there is a current list of questions to study up on. As far as I know, the questions will come from the documents the embassy has in their possession... which is half the reason we did not submit 5 pounds But it would be better to be prepared and we wanted to practice some sample questions.

I'll go correct my packet 3 date on my timeline, too...

I know Speedwell we will have to get them together to go have a celebration pint AFTER (I pray for us both). It's technically about 2.5 pounds. He has the originals and a copy of everything so two of everything makes it seem like SO MUCH MORE! My husband is so nervous and I don't get it. I keep telling him even if it's an embarrassing answer who cares...you are moving 4,000 miles and have a VERY slim likelihood of ever seeing this person from the embassy again. Practicing might be good for him to feel more relaxed or make him more nervous! haha

I'll have to do some searching to find the return passport thing.

From what I understand the questions are very simple and your significant other and you should already know them. They're questions like, what is your fiance/spouses name, where did you meet, if it was online, what was the site, have you meet in person before and where, what does she/he do in the United States, where will you live. From what I've read from many others, it's four questions and they're all very simple, so you should do great!

My husband and I met in a chat room for atheists. I am hesitant to allow him to say this to the embassy official in case we run into discrimination. What can we say that is true but doesn't mention the atheist part of it?

I'd have him say, if they ask what religion, tell them what if any he was born into and then say since whatever age I just have many questions. I'm still growing and searching for the answers that none of us really have. I do believe in the kindness of humanity and that we all could use more of it. As far as religion I don't practice any organized religion but rather focus on helping out my fellow man. Buying a homeless man a meal, filling up someone's gas at the station who doesn't have enough money.

All of these are things he MAY do it's not lying only evading the question. If you make the response shiny enough and don't come in with an image of the devil or a nazi symbol (I'm not going to attempt to spell that thing hahaha) then he will be fine.

Also follow the links given about all the documents for the interview to make sure what you sent NVC is sufficient. CR1s have gotten to their interview and found out they needed a subject access report in addition to the police certificate. Or they got an Oz police certificate without the required fingerprints. Or their I-864 didn't have all the details. Most people are fine, but read all the links in case there is some niggly little thing you didn't send to NVC. The real review of your documentation happens in London so don't assume everything is perfect if NVC passed it on.

On the left size of the same page are links for the medical, courier, security, and I -864 which are useful information.

In the menu bar of Visa Journey you will find Reviews: Embassy. Find London, then read what CR1s have said. They often tell the questions asked. There won't be anything that requires practice unless the hubby doesn't know your name, when you married, and a few simple things like that.

LOL. We are atheists. We do not believe in the Devil. We also do not appreciate fascism, which makes us less than ideal American capitalists. Believing that the welfare and happiness of humans is the proper work of humanity is Humanism, whether secular or otherwise. If your religion is doing good, then you agree with atheist, patriot, and American forefather Thomas Paine, who said, "Independence is my happiness, and I view things as they are, without regard to place or person; my country is the world, and my religion is to do good."

Religion is itself a sticky subject for a Northern Irishman, of course. Some comedian years ago told a joke about a Northern Irish atheist who was asked whether he was a Protestant atheist or a Catholic atheist. The funniest thing about the joke is that it's not a joke.

clicked Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, on this page you add your search info..You change the day and month to what you think your's might have left NVC

EXAMPLE:

Account Number - Leave this blank
Shipment Destination: United Kingdom / You Choose your Country

You have to mess with the dates I put EXP 06 MAY 2013A and changed the from date to the 6th as well and pretty sure that one is yours.
