OK, after posting an update here yesterday, I got a CHECKLIST email from NVC today...SIGH...but hey, we can turn this checklist as a positive thing and just send them what they need

Oh yea that judicial court paper... Inshalla Blair ull get it soon ...but u need more passport pics of him because when he does his medical exam they take 2 more of the passpot pics ill email u later of everything he needs to bring to his interview . But just be patient i know its hard but inchalla it will all work out and they give him the interview right away inchalla
just stay positive and remember that soon u'll have him forever -

Checking in...it's going to be two weeks on Friday since NVC received my AOS & IV package. Still no words from them. I actually called NVC to ask but of course, the woman quoted me the generic 20 days waiting period before getting an email with information. So just waiting, waiting, waiting...

Hey, a familiar Nov. filer. we had the same NOA1 date &.now we are both at the NVC stage...I think I'm a wee bit ahead of you by a week. Good luck!

Great to see that you got an interview date. How long was it when you submitted IV package to NVC before they let you know it was complete & that you got your interview date? I just overnighted our package to NVC & anxious to know when our interview date is! Best wishes!

I am happy to see that all of the Moroccon portal peeps that started their journey about the same time that I did are also getting their NOA2 & switching over to NVC. Now I hope to have NVC accept us so we can be in the home stretch of securing an interview date. It's a good feeling.

Did you get your case number yet? I see it is almost a month for you. The file should be already at NVC...be sure to call them everyday to check. For us, I think the file was there a week before but they just didn't input it into their computer system yet. So that is why it took exactly 1 month to get the NVC number.

thanks for the heads up...im in morocco with the hubby now getting all our documents ready and we tried to call but when we do we cant hear anything on the phone.ugh..we tried a few different phones here and all do the same..i go back May 18th with our little one...do you know what the promps are to push to get to a live person..any help is much appreciated

As I remembered, I think the NVC customer service phone number is NOT a toll free number. So it costs long distance rates to call to NH. And I believe you are put on hold to listen to the recording telling you to patiently wait for the next available customer service rep to help you. I don't remember any prompts. But again right now it's Sunday. I'll try calling the number (if I remember) and I'll post here a reply if there are any prompts to push.

Finally EVERYTHING for NVC is sent today! Was supposed to mail the package on Monday but ended up overnighting it today for tomorrow's noon delivery! Back to the waiting game to get our interview date now!

Another step closer, we paid our IV fee and our DS-3032 was accepted too. Now I have to double check my AOS and his IV stuff & mail the big package to NVC...such a great relief knowing we're at this point!!

I just got back from the postal office & I sent EVERYTHING to NVC (overnight delivery)! They should and will get it by NOON tomorrow. Anything you want to know TOTOEMY, please feel free to ask me. It's been a time consuming NVC part. But you don't know how my husband and I are relieved! Now back to the waiting game when they will email us our interview date! And I will prepare for my adventures in Morocco!

EXACTLY 1 month from our NOA2, today we got our case number!

I'm a little pet peeved and realized that NVC doesn't tell the truth. Just got off the phone a bit earlier and this rep told me that our file arrived there on March 25 and as I scroll down to read my older update, I had posted that I was happy because my file arrived on March 29. So WHEN DID THE FILE ACTUALLY ARRIVE?! And I just read someone's post who got their case number just today with the same arrival date of file of March 25 and/or later NOA2 date! UGH!

Just an update..I called NVC again and same story...the lady today actually sounded a little "didn't want to be at work answering calls" kind of tone of voice and just said..."we have your file but it takes 2 business weeks to have it inputted into the system." And that was that! I'll try again tomorrow. Hopefully, I get the male rep. He sounds more pleasant when he answers the phone

It is (17 business days) since my NOA2...come on NVC...I'm getting impatient again...I miss my hubby so much...I just want to pay the fee so we can move forward!

Just got off the phone with NVC and it was confirmed that our file has just arrived there TODAY! The customer service said "GIVE THEM ANOTHER 2 TO 4 WEEKS FOR INPUT!!" OMG...but hey, I'll just keep on calling and will call on Monday to ask again! Happy Good Friday to all!

As I am typing this, I am on HOLD with the NVC & listening to the NVC message...ALL OF OUR REPRESENTATIVES ARE STILL BUSY ASSISTING OTHER CALLERS, PLEASE REMAIN ON THE LINE...AS THE NEXT AVAILABLE REPRESENTATIVE WILL BE ABLE TO ASSIST YOU...ugh, I just spoke to someone and he said (last two times I got a female rep) said I need to wait 2 more weeks! But I told the rep that someone that has a notice date of March 12 got their case number yesterday...oh well, be little more patient.

Not that anyone cares, but I want to share that today is our 8 month wedding anniversary so I thought I should update our profile pic coz the last one was so darn small LOL (life is good, not complaining...had a sweet video chat with my hubby before he went to sleep early coz he is going to get his updated police report for our DS-230)

After a week getting the approved NOA2, I couldn't wait and I had to call NVC. So after being on hold for about 30 minutes, a live lady spoke to me & asked for my USCIS receipt #. It didn't show up. Then I informed her that I just got the NOA2 email last Friday. She told me to give time for the file to get to them & wait 15 business days before I call back. So it wasn't too painful. I'm just impatient!

My hubby's VISA petition got APPROVED and I got the email indicating the NOA2 is in the mail and on its way! YAY! Now I better read up on the next part of the process! I want to tell all who are still waiting, I felt all you are feeling but when you least expect it, it's a big relief; so hang in there. You will get your NOA2 Inshallah. Best wishes!

OK, I'm getting a bit irritated to see other people who filed their petitions AFTER mine and they are getting their approved before mine! What's up with that?!! I thought they should have the courtesy to go in order. UGH
