11 days until the arrival of my other half

Just wanted to check in and wish everyone a fast rest of the month of August. It's funny how we waited so long to get to this point. After all said and done with the Visa process, now a little more waiting for my hubby to actually arrive. LOL

Thanks everyone...my husband has the visa in his hands! He will be coming to America and we can now start our lives together here finally! Hamdoallah!

Ok, I spent all night doing my hubby's interview write up and I finally got it done and it's posted on consulate review section of the Morocco Portal..Take care everyone!

OMG..I wrote a fairly long and thorough post and then it wouldn't upload and then I didn't copy what I wrote and now I will have to do it again! But I'll do it later coz the VJ website is running slow today! hahaha

I am just too ecstatic and sooo happy to tell everyone that my dear husband passed his interview this morning, he got a little red ticket receipt and instructions to go back to pick up his VISA in 5 days (August 13th)! The interview was all very positive!

My hubby's interview is in less than 12 hours...we are excited and anxious! Please have prayers and good thoughts for us. Thank you very much!

Is it just me feeling like the US Consulate stopped working coz it's summer time? Still NO interview date.

We got the email yesterday saying that our case is now complete and to wait for the next email for the interview date. Relieved to know this!

I'm finally here with my husband in Rabat, Morocco...we spent a nice afternoon at the beach! But still no word on our case being complete!

It's been 1 week since NVC received what the checklist wanted. I think by the end of this week SHOULD be the week with some positive news. And I'm leaving for Morocco in 11 days!! So excited!!

Package went US Postal and should arrive tomorrow, Monday by 3pm. The 2 week waiting begins tomorrow.

HAMDOLLAH...the FEDEX came today. Now I will overnight it on a Saturday. So my question is that will it arrive on Monday or will it arrive on Tuesday if I use regular post office? Or should I just FEDEX it? Decisions decisions!

UGH...my FEDEX didn't arrive today! I cross my fingers that it will come tomorrow (Weds.) tick, tick, tick!

NO! I am not too happy with the mailing situation! Yes, Morocco is KNOWN for such unreliable mailing. When I sent my husband his Valentine's, St. Patrick's Day & Easter cards, they ALL NEVER SHOWED UP! I am trying not to think too much about this. I will remain positive because the last two times my husband sent me the paperwork. It did arrive. So I am HOPING it will come tomorrow (Friday)! INSHALLAH

Going to relax this Memorial Weekend before my highly-anticipated FEDEXed paperwork from Morocco should arrive on Tues., so I can overnight it to NVC on Weds. for arrival on Thurs. So we can hope for an interview date really soon!
