i dont think its my congresswomen who is replying its her co worker she said she will send me an email at the end of the month with what the embassey says to her also she said if it takes longer to write her back. and how do i know what should be considered a red flag. i think everything is good but maybe its his name idk ..

We sent them in 3 days after our appointment and they arrived the next day. And yes they called his cell because that's number we gave them at the time of the interview.

@ myvisajourney, I don't know exactly if we were on AP because the refusal sheet we got was marked 'Domicile' only and the councler didn't say anything about AP, but when I checked the DOS website for our case states it said Administrative Processing. I'm beginning to think that they have to update the case after the interview and for those with missing documents they just check AP for the sake of putting something even if they're not on AP. Please have hope, we're all rooting for you especially.

I went to pick my visa on 12/4 they said it wasn't ready :/

so they pushed my pick up till the end of Dec.

They said I might get a phone call from them sooner.

oh yea u told me sorry i keep forgettin theres alit of ppl here thats y. inshallah they call u soon irs not fair they didnt get his visa ready by the 4 th like they said

Hello everyone, good news. My husband got a call to his cell phone today at 9:30 a.m. from the embassy for him to bring in his passport and all our documents on December 17 at 10 a.m.

sleepless36- just brong ur old passports instead of the copy. r u in yemen right now? and yea everyone is diffrent some people take 3,4,5,6,7,even a year to get the call but i hate it cuz they not doing this in order.they choose whoever they want thats how it seems

Wanted to ask about the affidavit of residence and paternity/ maternity, when should I fill it out and get it notarized? Does it have to be right before the interview or at anytime? Also do we have to provide the proof such as old passports and documents to prove how long I have been physically in the US? I provided that kind of proof when I went for my petitioner's interview here in the States, so I don't know if I have to do it again. Sorry for the too many questions. Just trying to figure out what needs to be done.

you can fill it out whenever u want as long as its before the interview i think most revent is netter. and about the notraizing thing it was notarized at the embassy when the interviewing officer got it. u can notariz it before or when u go they can do it at the embassy. i broght my old passports but idk if they looked at it cuz it was in one of the envelopes. i did this all in yemen not in the states and went with him to the interview.

yeah it sounds normal. im sorry to hear he didnt get the visa yet but inshallah soon and if its ready now they will call u before the pick up date hopefully lets just say inshallah.

Even though our visa journey is over alhmaduallah I will still never leave this, I would continue to help anyone who is new to this and whoever need anything. Just like you all did . Thank you all and soon inshallah you all will receive you visa soon and be done with this journey.

yea the person with cirizenship would get a faster process then that of a greencard holder. thats why they have the visa bulletin for green card holders cuz the process takes long but citizens are much faster thats why they dont need it as much as green card holders

they need your case number and a brief explanation of what's u are going through and they also need your social security number. I filled out the whatever was asked of me in the form then signed it. Insha'allah u will get good news soon.

Inshallah khair ya rab. i heard there was some kind of bombin near the embassy someone ii know had an app today and they called him while he was on his way and gave him another app.

antisiar- they replied to me from her office and told me to sign the release form and im going to fax it yomorrow cuz i filled it out slready but i need to sign it then fax it. but i wanted to know are they going to just need my case number only nothing else besides that

in the begining i wasnt anle to send her a message cuz the websites asks for ur zip code and the 4-extension and i had no idea wth is the extension i had to go to the us postal page and put my adress for me to get the extension and then i was able to send her a message but they dont let u see her email address u send the message threw her website and then a thank you letter shows up and she says she will try yo reply to me soon
