The man's name is HYPNOS. He won his case, the whole thing was very interesting.

We are a family of 3 also. I just don't get the denial, it is weird.
We did not need a sponsor.

Congratulations. It is a great feeling to get it over and done with.

I agree with Deagle. The consulate didn't even ask me for my old passport. Don't freak out there is way to many other things to freak out about and this is not one lol.

We lived in Australia the whole time for my IR-130. My husband wouldn't leave us, I don't think it is any quicker either way. We just need to have proof of more money. For when we moved we had no jobs to go to no place to live - everything works out if you really want something.
FYI - we didn't have to have a sponsor, we did it on our own.

I was denied at the border in 1999 and I had to wait 5 years before I could travel here again. We got married in the mean time and moved here in 2013. Not an issue at all.

I got my letter on the same day for a ceremony 6 days later. My friend at work she got her letter for the ceremony 6 months later.

I am sorry that has happened to you. I know somebody who passed the interview on 12/21/18 and still hasn’t had their oath. 5 months - such a long time. Mine was 6 days.

Congratulations, I am so happy for you that your journey is nearly over?

Hi James,
My N400 said 26 months also and I completed it in 1 year and I had my Oath 6 days later. Good luck and don't worry about the time line, it is scary but it is all good.

You have to list it. Something similar happened to me - my now husband - was living here and I came for 3 months and I left the USA to go to Canada but the homeland security wouldn’t let me back saying I was trying to stay - which is not true but under visa waiver you cannot defend yourself. I was let back in under another visa. My husband moved to Australia which we lived until 2013. I got my PR and now I have my citizenship but in my interview my IO asked and I told him and it was fine, but if you lie that is where you get yourself in trouble.

Hypnos, go out fighting and kicking and screaming. They cannot do this to us - take our money and then make you wait and then even interviewed you - grrrr it is wrong.

I would hate it. I did say to my husband if I got denied I wouldn’t have applied again.

Hypnos, I am so sorry this has happened to you. You seemed to have done everything right. Good luck with the congressman and I hope life can start getting back to normal.
maybe they think you have nothing better to do with your life and you need some adrenaline to keep having all the upcoming fun you will have to deal with. Lol

Does anybody know how long the actual Oath Ceremony goes for? I just need to take time off work - believe me this is my priority but just so I can give my boss an idea of how long I will be gone.
i am so excited for tomorrow 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Does anybody know if my grandchildren can become US Citizens. If so, what do I need to do?
No they don’t live with me but visit a lot.
