It's listed on the Disney website as Star Wars VII so I'm not sure whether that means it will follow on after ROTJ (Timothy Zahn's Trilogy would be a great place to start!), or if it will fall somewhere else in the universe?

In the full press release they've confirmed it will be live-action and that the deal also includes the Indiana Jones franchise too. I really do think that Disney will bring life to a flagging franchise. It does really well in terms of the Expanded Universe in comics and books, but it is time for a fresh take on the universe and a return to theaters for an original film at last, only been waiting since 2005!

I can't remember the members in question but it is something that has been successfully overcome according threads I've read in the past. Just ensure that your fiance stays off drugs and adheres to any testing requirements laid down by the embassy. Should they complete the mandated year-long wait and successfully pass the medical, there is every reason to assume you'll be good to go.

I got my third EAD text this evening so I assume it's going out tonight and I should have it in the next couple of days?

They've done well with the recent Marvel adaptations. There's no reason why they couldn't do the same with the Star Wars franchise. The real issue is whether or not the new films will be animated.

I'm just praying that the Star Wars films from Disney are definitely more 'Avengers' than 'John Carter'.

I guess I should expect it at the end of the week then?

Incidentally, how did everyone get on at the Social Security Office when applying for their SSN using ther EAD?

OP, you're totally fine to adjust, many others have done it successfully by following the guide suggested. I'm near the end of my own journey doing the same as you are proposing to do.

You're also in CA and I know that a few people have had to wait a bit longer in the LA area than is usual. Hopefully you'll get an interview notice soon.

Went down to San Antonio on Thursday night for our 8:30 AM appointment on Friday. Unfortunately, while it was in the 90's and sunny when we drove down, it was 50, windy, and rainy on Friday leaving us quite unprepared for the weather. Out interview ended up starting a little after 9AM but it went pretty smoothly with no real grilling. We left about 15 minutes later with the temporary I-551 stamp in my wife's passport.

Congrats everyone getting updates, Receive a text and my EAD Date changed from 23 to 26, still says card production... on the other hand I got my interview notice in the mail yesterday YAY! is at 1PM last night I started getting all our paperwork together, printed all my forms, got bank statements, utilities bills etc so now Im getting our christmas/birthdays/Valentines letters together... we have lost of pictures too but should I take just some of them or even the silly ones ??? what else do we need?

I'l be gone by the time you get there. I'm at 8am!

My I 765 is on post decision activity. Is that normal? Did that happen to any of you befor it went to card production

Mine was at 'card production' when I checked it online. I never saw it show anything else. Have you checked it again since?

I'll be up at the DMV when I get my EAD. Do I need an SSN to get DL/State ID?

That's god to know about the morning interview. I hope I'm first one in!

Did everyone else get a separate letter with their interview notice about arrest records? I've never been arrested or detained so just wondering if it's a form letter?

don't say ugh! a morning interview is actually a VERY good sign that you will be approved. afternoon interviews are what you should worry about.

Is that true? I mentioned to my wife that morning interviews are a good sign just because I got that impression from reading around here - both at consulates and embassies too!

Received the hardcopy letter for interview. 8am! Ugh, going to have to set off early for that one!

Soooo, lots going on!! It's exciting to see movement for almost everyone. For those who are still waiting, just know it's coming soon!!!

As for us, lots going on. Gesi got a job IN FLORIDA!! lol I got off work last night at 2am, came home, booked his last minute flight for 9:30 this morning. Took him to DCA and dropped him off, got home around 7am and went to sleep! lol So he is officially in Florida now (thanks to his uncle down there coming through for us). I guess everyone knew a move was coming, we just didn't know when and where (Texas or Florida).

So I will start submitting my resume to hospitals down there. Not sure when I will move as I will have to give notice of course when we figure it all out. But goodness my head is spinning and I miss him already so much! He's called 21 times already today, haha. He is soooo excited and proud right now. It's a good time for the Valmera family

On another note, looks like I am going to have to deal with Hurricane Sandy coming up and possibly taking a turn into the mid Atlantic coast. Not fun!

I just got a message today stating my EAD had gone into production. It was 35 days after my biometrics appointment.

No news for me!!! Congrats to everybody! Hopefully I'm next
