Yeah I get that but I don't see this as making a point. Its just how the law is now. Now I know they said "they never do this to other people" but I don't buy that. The family doesn't have to be torn apart in this case, they can all go to Albania. I guess I just don't see it as the end of the world. Maybe once they're there, they can start working towards a legitimate immigration to the US. (But I think we all know that's not going to happen) There's tons of countries in Europe they could apply for immigration that are better in many ways than the US. Why not try something like that? Disagreeing with the law is fine, disagreeing with the law to the point of not following it leads to anarchy. I'm not in.

Sorry she did not get any feeling from me except anger. People like her are the reason why we have to jump through lots of hoops just to be able to bring our Family here legally. Also they are part of the reason why US border people can make it a ####### shot to be able to come visit on visitor visa while waiting for the immigrantion visa approval.

We should stop mollycoddling illegals...they claim (when apprehended) that they NOW want to do things 'the legal way' but had no interest in obeying our laws at the outset....just like criminals who find religion in prison (a week or two before their parole hearing), illegal aliens who suddenly claim to want to follow the rules only mumble this when caught being in this country without permission....up until that moment, they demonstrated absolutely zero motivation to adhere to our laws.
Congress should (a) deport every one of them (b) end all AOS from any visa save the K1 © eliminate all waivers....period. Enforce the penalties currently in place. But every time some visa cheat is granted a waiver, that action only encourages more visa cheats and border jumpers to just keep crossing our borders and erode our economy and culture.

Not deporting her would be rewarding her....I will be happy to drive her to the airport. She chose to ignore or violate our laws and now does not want to pay the price. Doling out green cards to those who thumb their noses at our laws just because they produced 1 or more children will only encourage others to do the same. It is time to put an end to rewarding illegals...by continuing to do so just makes getting tourist visas even tougher if there is no enforcement of our laws and rules.

To me it is one thing to be required to have car insurance to drive a car because to have a car is a choice (true, most American would say it is not a choice). However it is another thing to be required to have health insurance just because we are alive and US citizens. Basically we have to die to get out of paying for health insurance.
I feel bad for the self employed people because they have to eat all the health cost while most of us only see a portion of the true cost of OBAMA CARE because their employeer eat the rest of the cost.

When I started this process, as a foreigner I thought that Obama's lot were a lot better than the republicans and that the country was at least in the hands of a government that cared more about it's people. Oh how wrong I was! Obama apparently only cares about those who made it to the country illegally, if you try to do things the proper way you will be held up while they process hundreds of thousands of DACA applicants who didn't even pay in front of you. Citizens and their families are apparently second class. I feel like we need to do our best to get this out there on the news because I'm sure people would be appalled by this if only they knew.

Illegal immigration occurs because of the perceived opportunity here in the USA. Remove that perceived opportunity, and the flow will decrease and, in time, reverse.
Illegal immigration conveniently allows Washington and business to circumvent the dilemma of long-term unemployed US citizens, suppress wages and perpetuate an economic model that only increases the divide between the "haves" and "have nots." Business gains cheap labour, and the political party that panders most gains a voting bloc sufficient to affect national elections on a single-issue basis. Neither are good for the long-term future of the USA.

There are few in the upper echelons of either political party who would suffer ICE to show up at such a meeting. Upholding and enforcing the laws of this country seldom jibe with political expediency in this country.

It is important because Barack Obama is the President of the United States of America. This is the person that the majority of those who voted believed would act in the best interests of the citizens of the United States of America. Meeting with activists who advocate legalising anywhere between 12 and 20 million foreign nationals who entered this country illegally runs contrary to that ideal. That's why people care and that's why it is important.

One thing that IS consistent is the inconsistency of the service centers. They've always had yo-yo approval rates over the years, and have always adjunctated files out of order, for many varied reasons. Earlier this year, during the better part of the summer, TSC was approving files faster than any of the other two centers. Before that CSC was the fast one. And before that CSC was at a standstill for several months, forcing filers from 2012 to sit and wait from November through April this year. My wait time was 4 months, but I was expecting double that when I filed. And so it goes.
My suggestion to you, and to everyone who gets frustrated about waiting, is to use that energy and given time to prepare for your fiance's move here. There is much more that needs to be done to create a successful situation for your future wife than just going through the applications to get her here. Research job avenues, arrange the home to fit her desires, look up and get acquainted with support groups that cater to U.S. immigrants from her home country, research places that she/you might like to do together, etc, etc. She will be much more impressed and feel in good hands with someone who works hard at her long term happiness than someone who bitches and whines over the application process.

OP. I understand that you are a k1 filer....that applied in August. Seriously calm your horses. I understand your frustration but don't be like that. I'm already married, and can't be with my husband for Christmas either cause of the backlog. I've been waiting since April 9th and still no noa2. I'm also jobless in gray/white, cold Germany currently living at my parents. Happy for those who got their visa even though it's not fair to those who have been waiting longer. Lucky ones that don't have to endure such a long wait. Enjoy this years Christmas and New Years with your parents and siblings while you can.
