Yes.  It's been years though, more than 3, hes been an LPR for 8 years.   But neither of us knew.  I'm always the one handling whatever "administrative" tasks we do, so I'm probably the one who missed it. It was a complete mistake though, he would never had registered or even voted if we knew it was a crime. 

Please someone advise.  In the middle of filling out application and when asked if my husband registered to vote or hadls ever voted, I panicked and never knew this was illegal until just now.  

when i go to that page and follow instructions, then click the "USCIS IMMGRANT FEE" chart it takes me to another window and I get a pop-up that says "you are not authorized to preform this action"

I'm kind of lost as to paying the ELIS fee. My husband's visa was issued on august 17th, and hecame over that same day. We just got a letter last friday that they now have our case back at USCIS and to go online to pay the fee..... well I go online and it wont even give me a pleace to put in his Anumber and cse number.... is anyone else having problems with the website?

do I get my tracking number off the ASC website?

Hey to be all worked up about this. My husbands interview was yesterday and from the moment he had his interview it said on the CEAC website "ISSUED". and today I looked again at CEAC.. still says issued but also says it was updated today on July 16th.

When I log onto the ASC website this is all I get

When is this supposed to change? I know tis is the end, but seeing no update is grinding on my nerves.

Anyone who's been past this please advise.

So My husband had his medican exam done today... Note that 6 months ago h had all his vaccines so we wouldn't not have to pay extra at the exam....

Well apparently even though he already has them, and the proof that he was vaccinated, they give you shots anyways "just to be on the safe side" Medical exam: $415

I got a letter from the embassy about 3 weeks later to schedule interview, but each country is different

he has never been in the US before so he should have no problem with that.

My husband had his interview in Ciudad Juarez on June 16, 2015 which was approved. His status just changed today, July 6, 2015 to "issued". It says his visa was mailed to the DHL for him to pick up. He has been in Ciudad Juarez for 3 weeks and is still waiting. We are hoping it will be ready with a couple more days.

oh my goodness... has he been staying at a hotel this whole time?

I dont know what would happen if he had to wait in Juarez for 3 weeks!

My husband has his interview on July 15th in Juarez. He plans on staying there and picking uo his visa then just coming straight over into El Paso.

Question:

How long after interview should he be able to pick up visa in Juarez. I think I saw on another thread that someone has been waiting a few weeks for their visa??

Just an update - One of the two cases I have filed is complete today. I got a checklist for my stepson's case. Under supervisor review and can take up to 42 days.

We have our interview on July 15th. Our case was expedited at NVC on May 7th

It went well! We didn't get approved, which wasn't a surprise. But even having to submit a waiver, my husband was only asked like 5 questions.

Yeah, I guess they just added the new clinic in Mexico City recently. My husband lives in Mexico City, but he will be doing his medical in Juarez. I know someone who did the same with no issues.

How'd the interview go?

I scheduled my own interview, becuase of expedite, and I still have to wait until July 15th. I don't know why they cant just tell you what day it is. t see the light at the end of the tunnel
