  2. Hi all me fellow Latin americans,

My case was approved this morning for expedite, and I would like to know what I need to do now. Has anyone else in this forum gotten an expedite? What steps do I need to take? do I wait a few days then call the embassy? Do I call later today? This is what my email says:

    Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: **************** filed by ***************** on behalf of *****************.

The U.S. Embassy/Consulate General has accepted this case for expedited processing. This file will be immediately forwarded to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General. Any further questions concerning processing or the interview appointment date should be directed to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General.

Please note that the U.S. Embassy or Consulate General may still request additional forms or fees at the time of your interview. Please be prepared to submit any missing forms and pay any required fees at the time of your interview.

Any help would be great. Thanks

  3. They fixed my problem Friday, so I should be capable of paying this week but I'm 100% sure the reason mine wasn't working is different from yours so it's really weird this happen to us both .

Have yu been able to speak to supervisor? after 3 attempts I've been told they are "unavailable" each time :( getting super frustrated

  4. I honestly would tell them you want a supervisor because the issue isn't getting fixed they keep telling us that they put in a request blah blah so I just decided to go to the big dogs that handle things aka supervisors . I don't have time to keep waiting and I know you feel the same lol . Try early in the morning if your able so they don't tell you the supervisors are busy .

UGH! So sorry your in this situation also, but its so nice to not be alone and have someone in the same boat help me out! Thanks so much. hopefully its fixed for both of us soon! This week would be nice

  5. Hey no not yet I spoke to a supervisor today and said I had had enough and explained everything, they said I should be able to pay it in the next day or two that they have someone working on it, so we shall see lol .

iM still in the same boat as you, yesterday I talked to a girl names "Amanda" and she said that she just put in a request to generate the fee and I should be able to pay in a week... I hope thats true.. should I also try to call and request to speak to supervisor? or just wait?

  6. I suspect that this is a standard expectation that frontline staff are told to offer.

That is the information that I was given when I hit a few snags in processing. When I called back an got to an actual supervisor we were able to determine that the processing had not gone as planned and they were able to process record while I was on the phone. So in our case, no it only took us calling back and being persistent.

So I can call and request to speak to supervisor about my case?

  7. just the trip to ciudad juarez - 1500 USD

    hotel, food, flights

medical exam 190 + vacunas 100-200 more USD

visa fees should all be paid before you go. Thats where we are at so far. ID SAY ABOUT 2000$USD MAS O MENOS :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy: :goofy:

Holy #######!!! I was only expecting about $900... I even did all the numbers for the hotel and transportation, etc... granted, I did look for the cheapest EVERYTHING

  8. Wow! Our scan date is 4/10/15 and we paid the IV fee only yesterday. I won't have time to fill the DS-260 until this weekend, I hope they won't try to review our case until next week... Oops! I really do not want a checklist. (Though I think we'll probably get one, since we did not have tax transcripts for 2014 due to not having filed yet - USC living abroad get an auto-extension till later in the summer.)

wow, so my case is under supervisor review because they werent generating IV fee... I was told today that it can take up to 42 days????

does that set aside normal review times?? and now I have to wait 42?

    Please dont say yes... :(
