would this apply for a cr-1/ir-1 visa also? Everything is ready for me at embassy, I just need to schedule the interview, and I know they sent letter last thursday.

Or should I just sit tight and wait another week?

I received "Packet 3" yesterday. What relief!!!!! Heading to Juarez in 2 weeks!!!

Do you know what day they mailed it out? and what part of the country are you in? did they use USPS?

Im at a complete loss.... ceac has said ready for almost 2 weeks. I have called the visa information number

and they just say to wait for letter from embassy. How much longer do I need to wait? What time frame did you get everything. Please help

UPDATE:

I called the number and was told that the appointment letter was sent on May 8th and that it takes two weeks to arrive. I also asked that if I don't receive the letter within that time could I just go to the information window and have them reprint the letter. She said no, they no longer allow that. Was I being bullshitted? Is 2 weeks the standard canned answer, and do you think that yes, it is possible to still go to the info window at that time?

I just logged onto CEAC and It is allowing me to fill out ds260 even though I havent paid IV fee.

Do I go ahead and fill it out or do I wait to hear instructions from the consulate before I do anything?

I know I just keep posting and posting about this but I dont have a clue what I need to do. Anybody who has had theirs expedited could you just kind of walk me through partially or tell me your experiences just to get an idea please? I know that my package got there either last thursday or friday, but I dont know what comes after that.

How and were do you fill out and submit the ds-260?

Do I wait for consulate to contact me, because I have tried to call and cannot get through to a person at all.

and Also, if there is any correspondence with the consulate, do they use snail mail or a carrier like DHL or something similar?

But the ship creation date would be the day before so perhaps this is the one.

which tracking number did you put in?

I hate NVC April 19, because they need a supervisor cause they're too incompetent to generate a stupid fee.... o by the way, I spoke to a supervisor 3 days ago, and he was just a useless and the other reps... Im so frustrated with their games right now

ugh! I feel like pulling my hair out! Yesterday morning I got an e-mail saying that they ave accepted my case for expedite, and for ny further information to contact the embassy.

So today I try to call the embassy to know, well, you know... whats next? since I have the whole NVC process down by heart, but I dont know what to do in this case.

Anyways, I cant get through to an actual person at the embassy, just automated messages. Anybody else who has had epedite know what I need to do or anything that might help a little? I feel so blind right now.

I dont know if theres such thing, but i put expedited on your name. Is there going to be a CC if its expedited? I thought its going straight to the embassy from there on?
