^ the aforementioned hat. I find this hysterical... If you're going down in flames, might as well crack jokes on the way. Y'know he'll just be a martyr for the cause.

At 44, with a life full of experience, I can tell you that the amount of time you spend trying to know someone before marriage doesn't mean diddley-squat. I dated someone for 8.5 years before we set our wedding date, and caught him cheating on me for the first time (that I know of!) only three weeks before the wedding!! The sad reality is...you NEVER really know what someone is capable of, no matter HOW long you take trying to figure them out.

I don't know what they wanted, or if it makes a difference. I am asking if anyone had any experience with this. That is what he gave them. (isA) It is ok, I hope. They did not say anything at that point. I don't know if it will be a problem later.
Goes to show that you mush spell out every detail for your significant other, because sometimes you think you are on the same page...but you're not.
Hope thats the case. They didn't say anything at the medical about it.

Thank you so much for the information! I am sorry he had to wait that long ... I know how medical places in Egypt are not that organized, but one must be patient to get his stuff done! I will make sure I inform my husband about this information! Thanks a lot!

This second one told him to come in between 10am and ? anytime to be seen. He went Sunday. They took his papers and pictures and told him to have a seat... ended up taking 2 hours and him bugging the only front desk person before she asked if he had given her his passport yet. He hadn't because they told him they'd call him up. *eyeroll*
Less than 10 minutes after that they called him for the basic physical and health history questioning. Then it was back to the front desk who sent him down to Xray. They said they'd do it as soon as they had a machine, and they took his papers. An hour later, he was still sitting there while others had come after him and gone long ago. Again they grabbed his papers and miraculously found a machine empty.
Back to the front desk who sends him somewhere else downstairs to get some vaccination stuff. They actually gave him the needles. (O.o <-- this is the face of someone who works in the medical field here) The send him back up stairs to the vaccination woman, who is nowhere to be found for some time while the front desk person searches for her. They finally find her in the vaccination area doing absolutely nothing. Vaccination goes quickly.
Back to the front desk he goes, and is sent on his way to a nearby lab for blood work. This part is very quick, in and out. They said 7-10 days are needed to get the results and packet ready.
hope that helps for anyone curious...

My own journey is still in the early stages. You made me smile today and I wish you and your husband many many more years of love and happiness.

Nine years ago today I met my husband on St. Patrick's Day. I guess we could say it was our lucky day!
I had time before my friends could meet to go out for St. Patrick's Day so I went online into a yahoo movie chat room. That's where we talked for the first time and saw each other on webcam. I was wearing green lipstick and green clothes. He was wearing a white button up shirt and I remember the day was so bright there while it was night time where I was.
It just started out as casual acquaintances with a mutual interest in films, and then we became friends for a couple of years before it grew into something more. I never imagined in my wildest dreams that I'd be married to an Arab Muslim from Egypt that I met over the internet but here we are nine years later and still going.
This is a really special anniversary for us because it was the start of it all. He brought it up to me so we recently looked back at our old photo albums together and said we look so young to ourselves now. My God we were both just 25 years old when we first met! Both so young, healthy, attractive and full of potential. You don't realize what you have until later. Hindsight is 20/20.
Then we talked about what happened each year that passed since we first met and recalled all the things we went through to be together. We realized we're finally coming up on having more years being physically together than when we were apart. Some of those years apart were so dark and difficult, but now life is a lot sweeter the three years after he's been in the States with me and it feels like it's only going to get better from here. I know some of our best years together are yet to come!
Think about that when you feel down about everything. Some of the happiest years of your life together hasn't happened yet, but it will. It's waiting for you both and there is so much more to look forward to.

Oh okay, i've made a pact with myself to never play WoW again, but if it's what your social circle does to hang out, that's cool! Maybe one day when i'm a millionaire and don't need to work, i'll get into WoW again!

Yeah, WoW definitely sucks a lot of my time But yeah, I think I still play for the social factor. And I healed in Wrath, but when Cata came out, I switched to DPS and haven't changed since then. And Cata and MOP have been good. Some people like them, some people hated it. I'm easy to please, so

LOL Priest is also a healing class! I stopped playing WOW once I got engaged and began looking for a new job. It was such a time sink, although I admit it was fun because of friends. I used to 95% heal, Healing Pally and Resto Druid, miss it, but I am done with MMOs. VJ is my new MMO (massively multipetitioner online)!
How is WoW since after Lich King?
