Well, I just checked, they sent us an RFE today.. I can't stop crying... Wow, so much for wanting my file looked at.
Hey...head up...It is probably something super simple and you should get your NOA2 with in a few weeks now...I've seen many getting NOA2s within a few weeks from RFE
-
Head up guys....8 in a single day is great for VSC....The time is near...just a matter of days now!!!

I decided to give it a shot a called NVC...To my surprise they received it, they gave me the SAR case number and told me it is going to be forwarded to the embassy shortly after they are done with it...and she said now it's just matter of days...the long wait is over....Since she was so nice I asked her about the delays we were/are experiencing at VSC....She did not want to elaborate much but stated that VSC is under a lot of pressure due to the higher than usual visa volume....anyhow...at least they are aware so hopeful they are doing something to fix it...

Interestingly enough my timeline keeps moving...In the last two days it has moved forward but I am still past it...Initially was May 28 to June 6th, a few days ago June 12th, yesterday was June 19th...today June 22nd...what do ya know but it looks like they are adding days...
-
Talked to my atty yesterday...he just mentioned that H1B quota for this year is already reached and that likely added some extra processing times to all other visa types they process in Vermont...Plus they are severely understaffed...so, in other words, sit tight, prey the Lord and try not to sweat much....
Sucks but hey, nothing we can do...C'est la vie....

No pessimistic just realistic with what we have seen so far, does not mean i'm not hoping that this mess will get fix soon
hope is a beautiful thing and keep us sane but it does no good to close our eyes on what is really going on either...
YESSS...oh, and for all it matters, Jan VJ filers are almost 50% with NOA2s...

Made the call. USCIS VSC is still reporting 1/09....No service requests can be input at this time. So no change from last week. They are a powerful force. Basically they can suppress our service requests as long as they want. Until they update that date, we can't doing anything about it...This sucks..
And it seems that they update timeline once a month just like on the website...around 15th of the month...what is sad, is that it's for the month before....so in other words, timeline is already obsolete and inaccurate...but FU@# 'em
-- we will persevere!!!

end of July??? have you heard of a power of positive thinking? by venting you won't make things moving unfortunately.. I mean we are here to listen and help each other but we are also here to help each other stay positive and to give some sort of hope!
Have you contacted your congress person? rang USCIS and ask for the service request?
yessss....positive thoughts only...If you are a downer or pessimist no need to post
Hey we are all in the same boat and end of June is going to be GRAND for all of us!!!!

Just talked to Vermont DisService Center(VDSC) and got same scripted answers as on Monday...I guess tehy really are updated once a week...so maybe next week we'll know more....
Oh, and my timeline shifted from originaly being "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated betweenMay 28th and June 6th" to June 9th and June 19th...ah well it is past that date too
-
As a date, the 9th makes no sense though. We've seen approvals at the end of the month and into February, so I'm not sure I believe they're still working on January 9th. Probably they chose that date because it's the last petition they approved from the beginning of the month. I think they want to avoid service requests. I sent off my form to my senator a few minutes ago, though I probably won't hear anything back until Monday.
Oh I know, that is their scripted answer and they update it about twice a month...so for sure they are at least working the 9th...No method to the maddnes...
-
today so far:
1x RFE January 10
2x approvals January 12
and that's all
Hey at least we are past the 9th...tomorrow is the day...I know it...I can smell it...NOA2 is happening tomorrow...(that would be absolutely the best birthday present I can ask for)
-
haha
Cheers! Thought no one noticed my little question
we are trying that next week...
You can try at any time (they are open 08:00-20:00)...If you are lucky enough you will talk to a reasonable human being( i think there are 3 at the call center
and they will let you know at least what days they are currently processing at your SC...I'm gonna try again in a few minutes...MAYBE THEY MADE SOME PROGRESS....MAYBE-e?
-
The 17th is my date too. I hope today or tomorrow is our approval day! My status is also the same.
I'm 17th as well.....Couldn't agree more!!
-
oh great , someone from February got approved today... that will definitely make us feel better...
I give up...I guess really there is no method to this maddness....February...and to top it off with RFE??? #######
-
Just talked to Cust Service...VSC is currently working on Jan 9th....it's getting close:)
-
I'm calling 'em again today...since they get their scripts"updated" every two weeks maybe I'll find out what date they are processing now...
-
Truly a great day, even better week at VJ January Filers community...long over due but hey...let's hope for many more to come...sooooon, like tomorrow soon:)
-

WE JUST GOT OUR NOA2!!!
They sent the email at 8:45 pm local time!! I was so excited I was jumping around the room, hahah!!
Just for the record, our petition was at CALIFORNIA, our NOA1 date was January 20, so we were ONE WEEK away from the 5 month mark.
So, CSC people, it's good news! All your NOA2's are coming!!!
Congrats
-
I found some movements yesterday:
1 x RFE (January 6th)
2 x approvals (January 10th)
1 x approval (January 13th)
1 x approval (January 20th)
They are basically all over the place!
WOW...So fraekin random...There is no method to the madness I guess....
-
Talked to the USCIS today...just being curious and all, they told me that VSC is slightly behind...Today they are processing 1-3-2012.
So I guess the timeline should work in the next 10 days...Who knows... There are filers after me who just got approved but many before me without...Let's just leave it to lady luck and hope we all got it by EOM!!!
