  1. I decided to give it a shot a called NVC...To my surprise they received it, they gave me the SAR case number and told me it is going to be forwarded to the embassy shortly after they are done with it...and she said now it's just matter of days...the long wait is over....Since she was so nice I asked her about the delays we were/are experiencing at VSC....She did not want to elaborate much but stated that VSC is under a lot of pressure due to the higher than usual visa volume....anyhow...at least they are aware so hopeful they are doing something to fix it...

  2. Talked to my atty yesterday...he just mentioned that H1B quota for this year is already reached and that likely added some extra processing times to all other visa types they process in Vermont...Plus they are severely understaffed...so, in other words, sit tight, prey the Lord and try not to sweat much....

Sucks but hey, nothing we can do...C'est la vie....

  3. Made the call. USCIS VSC is still reporting 1/09....No service requests can be input at this time. So no change from last week. They are a powerful force. Basically they can suppress our service requests as long as they want. Until they update that date, we can't doing anything about it...This sucks..

And it seems that they update timeline once a month just like on the website...around 15th of the month...what is sad, is that it's for the month before....so in other words, timeline is already obsolete and inaccurate...but FU@# 'em :wow: -- we will persevere!!!

  4. end of July??? have you heard of a power of positive thinking? by venting you won't make things moving unfortunately.. I mean we are here to listen and help each other but we are also here to help each other stay positive and to give some sort of hope!

Have you contacted your congress person? rang USCIS and ask for the service request?

yessss....positive thoughts only...If you are a downer or pessimist no need to post :)

Hey we are all in the same boat and end of June is going to be GRAND for all of us!!!!

  5. Just talked to Vermont DisService Center(VDSC) and got same scripted answers as on Monday...I guess tehy really are updated once a week...so maybe next week we'll know more....

Oh, and my timeline shifted from originaly being "Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated betweenMay 28th and June 6th" to June 9th and June 19th...ah well it is past that date too

  6. As a date, the 9th makes no sense though. We've seen approvals at the end of the month and into February, so I'm not sure I believe they're still working on January 9th. Probably they chose that date because it's the last petition they approved from the beginning of the month. I think they want to avoid service requests. I sent off my form to my senator a few minutes ago, though I probably won't hear anything back until Monday.

Oh I know, that is their scripted answer and they update it about twice a month...so for sure they are at least working the 9th...No method to the maddnes...

  7. haha :D

Cheers! Thought no one noticed my little question :) we are trying that next week...

You can try at any time (they are open 08:00-20:00)...If you are lucky enough you will talk to a reasonable human being( i think there are 3 at the call center  and they will let you know at least what days they are currently processing at your SC...I'm gonna try again in a few minutes...MAYBE THEY MADE SOME PROGRESS....MAYBE-e?
