iii. Copy of Sponsor’s Birth Certificate

Do i need to send W2 in addition to IRS Transcripts:

viii. IRS Transcript for tax year 2010 and and copy of W2 (?)

  2. Did you file I-30?? coz all i sent with I-864 is Tax transcript and paystub i sent birth cert and passport along with I-30

I just sent 2011 IRS transcript and just one paystub and yesterday i received notice for my interview appt...

    Did you file I-30?? > > I guess you mean I-130?

Yes, we are doing concurrent filing of I-130 & I-485.

I just sent 2011 IRS transcript and just one paystub >> I think we need to end atleast 6 pay stubs?

I heard that with IRS tax transcripts one need not anything else like W2 or 1099 as it has all the information.

But need confirmation from senior members

  6. my cosponsor file his tax along with his wife so to show his income I am sending w2.I know some of thing are not required but I saw ppl sending them on other post.

    http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/378137-f-1-aos-marriage-based-concurrent-filing-cover-letter-content-list/

In my case, my wife is income sufficient so not using any co-sponsor.

Still not sure, whether for income proof for I-864 following are sufficient?

    - 6 months pay stub

    - Recent employer verification letter indicating role, annual income etc

    - Tax Transcripts from IRS for last 3 years

Do she need to provide W2 and 1099 also?

  7. I-130 package include:

Copy of petitioner birth certificate ,

Copy of petitioner passport, Naturalization Certificate, SSN and State ID

Do birth certificate required?, i think passport copy will do. If born outside of US??

Naturalization Certificate, SSN ? - Not needed specially SSN, Passport copy is there.

    =====================================================================

IRS Transcript for tax year 2011, Account transcript and 1099 misc

IRS Transcript for tax year 2010 and 2009

Just Tax Transcripts are sufficient, i don't think you need to provide anything like W2 or 1099

(Please anybody chime in if thats not correct)

I-693: Sealed envelope containing medical reports from civil surgeon.

Did you mention anything on the envelope to indicate that its I-693?

  8. hi VJ people.. as what the topic title says, can i seek help from you cause i have no idea about what some of the items in the letter that was sent to me for an interview this coming august 21, in the two items saying that: "Original and copy of each supporting document that you have submitted with your application.", "All documentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent Resident status." what does it mean? thanks..

Good for you if you carry the following:

    - Exact copy of the package you submitted

    - Originals of the docs submitted

    - Any proofs/docs/photos those came after you sent the package

    Hope that helps !!

  9. 2. I only use one big envelope to house all the paperwork, and use paper clips/fasteners to hold the separate forms together. But in reality they take those out right away in the mail room I believe, and put it in their own format.

    a. I believe the intending immigrant needs 7, and the petitioner only needs 1. Check the list I posted earlier. Someone please chime in if I am incorrect.

    b. i have seen other VJers use tabs , etc. if it helps you to organize it, why not ? Ultimately you want to be comfortable with what you are sending.

    c. I believe B/W copies are sufficient.

    Good luck!

I understand we need to PRINT(write) OR TYPE in all the forms in black.

I read somewhere that all signatures should be in BLUE. Is that right?

  10. Hi VJers...

Could you please help shranjan84 and me?

    Thanks for your help :help:

    Again....

My USC wife is filing AOS for myself and my daughter(all in USA).

I have few questions regarding I-864:

    a. Whether she need to file two I-864s, one for me(with required docs), one for step daughter(with required docs)?

    b. How to answer q8: I am sponsoring the principal applicant9myself)?

    c. How to answer q9: I am sponsoring the following persons immigrating at the same time or within 6 months...

    d. As proof of income of petitioner following are sufficient?:

    - letter from employer indicating annual salary, role, employer address/phone

    - Last 6 months pay stubs

    - Last 3 years tax transcripts

    e. We received the tax transcripts from IRS for the last 3 years. Do we need anything else like W2 or 1099 etc or just tax transcripts from IRS are sufficient?

    f. She was not making enough in earlier years. She got better job last november after which she is

easily above 125% of poverty line. She has household of four(she+myself & my 2 kids, though filing AOS for just one as other was born here).

    Appreciate your help VJers

    God Bless !!

    Anybody please

  11. He didn't approve us on the spot, but we got the approval notification a few hours later!

As for the custody of the children, he asked to see my divorce agreement and commented that I had two kids. He asked what the custody arrangement was, and I told him. He didn't seem interested in much more than that, other than to ask my husband how he got along with the kids. It really was nothing to worry about, more of a casual conversation than an "interview".

    Congratulations DandT14  !!!

Did you post your interview experience especially related to divorce/kids? How you explained about the custody thing?

    Enjoy :) !

  12. I also have same confusion, some one advised me on this forum that w2 is not required if you are sending tax transcript.

  13. Hi Everyone, I have had of this site and the beautiful ppl n d good help y'all give to ppl. Well I have an i864 related question so I decided to post it in this forum. I got married with my husband who is on f1 visa, 6months ago and we r still together n happily. we wr not able to file for him since then because we have been through lots of financial problems. Now we gat enough money, I wanna petition him before the money goes away:). But, we just moved to a new location and I didn't get a job get, I have my previous year tax returns, I didn't make enough over d years but his cousin agreed to co-sponsor him (my husband).

    But my question is:-

    1. Can we go ahead and file even without me having a job at current since his cousin is co-sponsoring him?

    2. His cousin signed the i864 3months ago, does he ( the co-sponsor) need to sign a new form?

I look forward to your sincere advice. Thanks

Please start your own thread, don't Hi-jack this one. Its' free !! :bonk::P

  14. Thanks you all....

But now I got a trouble...

    - I changed my address 1 august and they send the card in production 1 of august...so i called to USCIS...the representative who pick up the call 1st time....she said that yes my card in production and will get within 30 days ...but she is not so knowledgeable regarding address change and then she trasfer me to anohter level of representative...and 2nd represetative said to me that Yes she updated my new address. but she said that in her system it shows that case is still in review? and so card is in not in production she can't give me the tracking number for that because its not issued yet. ?

    I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S THIS?

I have an email into my personal email account from USCIS that my card is in production and i also got screenshot from USCIS web site where we can check status by receipt number....?

Anybody faced this type of confusion before... I am really scared now.

    Thanks friends

You're proving your screen name

    Just kidding !

Let them send to your old address. You can go and collect. Pls don't create more 'Panga's' for yourself. Make an infopass, and find out whats going on.

    All the best !!

  15. Thank you for your response. The USA is stuck with me though, I was born here. My husband is Canadian.

You're probably right though, I'm panicking over nothing. (I'm a little prone to that.)

And, for the record, I think your newborn trumps my bank statements. :P

You have more than enough

They can see the chemistry between the couple, nothing else matters.

Just be relaxed and enjoy your time tomorrow.

Wish you good luck !!! :star:

  16. They were confused or mistaken. This is not how it works, and I suspect they thought you were a CR-1 case. If you do not correct this error, your wife may have problems down the road, or even get her PR revoked. It is USCIS error, but you should treat it seriously and get it amended. A K-1 becomes a Permanent Resident after marriage to the petitioner in the US and after I-485 approval, not when they first enter the US on K-1.

    I agree with Harpa.

    Back to fundamentals:

A K-1 becomes a GREEN when marriage to USC spouse AND then having AOS done after the interview.

ROC can be done at the 2nd anniversary of AOS (not marriage).

  18. Thank you.

My thought was also that they were interested in possible child support arrangements. I counted both my children as dependents on the I-864, even though I don't pay child support. I can't think of any other reason they would care about the custody of the US citizen's children. But like I said, the people here (who are right more often than they are wrong :) ) told me that they aren't asking about my kids, only the beneficiary's. We'll see...

All the best DandT14 !

Your current husband(beneficiary i guess) has any kids from current marriage or from previous marriage?
