    We met August 23, 2008 on Myspace, lol. We started out as friends and it quickly grew into more. Spent many hours chatting, emailing and talking on the phone. I flew over for his birthday September 2010, after promising his mum I was coming. My trip was short due to financial reasons, and we wed while I was there. I came home, hired an attorney and began the process of paperwork, which we submitted in December. Almost a year after starting the process we had our interview date, for which he was denied. Now we await the NOIR, and I am planning another trip over.

    If ever you need a local congressional office to help you, first ask what kind of help they will actually do before asking them for anything! Some will go further than others, it's best to inquire from the get go as I just learned the hard way!

      @feli114 Did they also send you a form to sign giving them permission to check into your case? If not, then they can do nothing until that paper has been returned back to them......I just had my local office attach in an email, filled it out, signed and attached it back via email. She inquired within minutes of receiving that form back to her.

      well as for me my congressman contacted the embassy and my case was sent back last week to USCIS now the wait starts....:(

      I agree.I had to "look around" a bit before choosing one to work with,many just talk but dont really try to help all that much.
