You said your wife has a very short and hot temper and threw porcelain down the stairs, shattering it.???? in my opinion there is just a name for this kind of woman "spoiled brat". I don't understand how you put up with her #######. You deserve better. Make sure she is not abusing your child. Tell her to attend some anger management classes ASAP.

Well I have a friend that her cousin was engaged to an american and didn't know about the fiancé visa.
Se went to the US on a tourist visa, got married and when she tried to adjust status they wanted to deport her.
She spent 5 years fighting in court to finally get her greencard. It was a nightmare.
That's how i got to know about the fiancé visa. My friend told me this story back in 2006 and I just found that insane
and never forgot about it. Who knew that i'd be engaged to an american too. (life is crazy!)
Her cousin got her visa either in the end of 2011 or begining of 2012. So there are consequenses
for doing things the wrong way. She probably spent much more than the $1700 of the fiancé visa.
I know it sucks.. but it's the rule.. what can we do?!

He just got out of surgery and has a rod in his leg. The doctor feels it went well, but I don't know much more at this time.
His friends are all being wonderful, and he is being very well looked after so my heart is a little more at ease now.
My final decision is just to wait and see what the consulate says. I received our case number on wednesday, so will get to calling as soon as monday comes around. I'm sure it won't be long until we hear news about the interview. Luckily most of my papers are in order, I just have to have my medical. I need to go to a a consulate approved doctor to do that, right? Is there a list anywhere that lets me know who the approved doctors are? I'm starting to pack everything up tomorrow so I can be ready to leave as soon as my visa is granted. Buying a plane ticket right now is ill advised.
Your support has been so, ,so amazing!
I apologize if I seemed over sensitive at any point, but I'm sure you understand how heartbreaking it is to be away from the peson you love when they are in pain.
My reaction was admittedly a bit dramatic, but at least now my head is clear.
Thank you for the perspective and advice. I honestly do appreciate it.
Will keep going on the pre-determined K1 route, because I'd rather wait a little longer and not have to leave again. At least if I wait, we can stay together for good this time.

Keep up your spirits because CSC seems to be moving really fast these days!

Yes, I just had to fire the Immigration Attorney I was using.
She's a high-pressure nut case freak. She made the Visa process the most stressful and difficult thing in my life. She lied to me. She's a bully that attacks from her lawyer bully pulpit. She would attack me viciously in her emails over minor things.
Even my mother thought this attorney was trying to get me to respond to her attacks with anger so she could contact the U.S. Consulate in China and tell them I have a bad temper and sabotage my Fiancee Visa.
You hire someone to help you and pay them good money to do so and in return they do everything they can to destroy the most important thing in your life to you and yours.
Be careful who you hire to help you.

    Your fiancée's 221g was not a denial. It was a refusal. There's a difference.
Her 221g told her what she had to do, and she did it.
Now her visa has been approved and she received an email from 2GO telling her that they have her visa packet.
Delivery of her visa packet is imminent...probably tomorrow.
    Congratz!

Timeline is based on when the months/people before you get approved...VSC is on a serious go slow at the moment, we have no idea why, but many of the people who applied in Jan are now waiting more than 160 days, so not right. When they have called they get told that VSC is working on Jan 9th or Jan 23rd, nothing matches or makes sense. Prepare for a long wait cause if this go slow continues it will be more like 6mths+ than 5mths....sorry to be the bearer of bad news, may the force be with you!

Follow Darnell's advice from the other topic: Withdraw the I-864 right now, girl..
What he did to you isn't fair, so protect yourself!

    "
Withdrawing the I-864 is straightforward. Prepare 3 letters - one to USCIS national office, one to USCIS Local Office, One to ICE Section Chief at the local office. You could word the letter as such: I am withdrawing the I-864, Affadavit of Support, filed in conjunction with an Adjustment of Status Case, (NOA-1 receipt #), A# (# from his K-1 visa stamp), as of this date. Then in the header, in the subject line, make sure you list all of his biodata. Make original signature on each letter. Can mail today. If you are in a time crunch, can get to the local office with letter in hand, give to the security guard, include another page for 'personal delivery receipt' and ask him to give it to the shift supervisor inside , and the shift supervisor to sign the delivery receipt and return it to you. Expect to wait outside 30 minutes to an hour, or if the guard is told to let you inside, you can go inside and hand this off to a USCIS shift supervisor. "

    Hi Vjers,
This morning around 11ham, my visa got approved. I was asked only 3 questions: 1- how is the baby inside of my wife belly, ( the CO, a woman, said that I'm so lucky cause my wife is so beautiful...lol. 2- I was also asked, what year I met my wife and if she has another child. Then the CO joke again by saying if I'm a fan of brasil soccer team as I had a brazil t shirt in one of the pics. She also asked me if I worn it last saturday while brasil lost against Argentina....lol I said no and she said congratulations, you are qualified for the visa. Youpiiiiiiiiii. It was really smooth, she was really friendly. I want first to thank my Lord as I told him to give me a friendly CO who's is not gonna ask me a lot of questions. He answerred my prayer. If my visa is approved today it is God's help as since the beginning he was showing us visision that he is with us. Secondly, I wanna thank this website owner who had this wonderful idea of creating this useful tool which also heled me a lot and saved me money and time. I want allso to thank all of you that helped, replied to my questions. God bless you all.

I know you also live somewhere here in Washington, you might need a shelter for abused women I can ask my mother in law as she is a volunteer for shelter project. If you are really decided to go back to Philippines, you can maybe contact Philippine embassy and ask for help. Please message me if you need somebody to talk with. Hugs. (L)

Thanks again for all the advise. This is where everything stands as of right now. We used a lawyer to process out K1. I got a hold of him today and updated him on my situation, he immediately drew up the letter to withdraw my petition for AOS. He also is sending me tomorrow to a local Uscis office here that has a fraud unit. At this point I still don't know where my husband is, and I am thinking I might never know. For many reasons this might be the best thing for me due to some of the threats, but to be honest it really is driving me crazy. I am taking advise of others and attempting to put my emotions on hold and do what I have to do to protect myself right now.

It's not about vengeance or about seeking validation for it, is about justice, that's all it is!. Why would you allow people to wreck your home, play with your emotions, scam you, treat you and hurt you?. I truly believe we have to respond to any violation or abuse and not let people rob your peace and wrap your heart. Vengeance does not call for punishment. We have a system to protect us,many people are saying "oh Immigration won't do anything against him blah blah blah", well they are wrong! I go to the Immigration Court almost every day of the week for the past 10 years and I saw thousands of people being deported!. In 2011 the United states deported 396,906 people, 54.6% of them were criminal offenders, but 46% of the deportees were people out of status, illegal, fake marriage, people caught at the border etc, they are not sleeping, they work hard!
I am an attorney and I own a non profit organization who helps victim of domestic violence as well and our message is SPEAK OUT!!! To say let go, move on, forgive him/ forget him is not constructive. We build a strong society with moral values when we demand Justice! She said she was psychological and physical abused by her husband then she must not let him get away with freedom. We need to teach our kids to demand justice and respect because without justice a society would fall apart.
Report a fraudulent marriage to the ICE, call at (866) 347-2423.

I hope you spent this much time on something productive that will help you today. You have a short time to do what Darnell suggested. Missing that window will bring a lot of pain into your life. You can finish the dirty laundry later. Take out the trash first, then close the door behind you so another can open.

"go see his life now" - this is a common phrase from Nigerian immigrants coming in on a K-1 visa.
    So, since he's gone,
and there's no green card yet - what do you want to do ?
you still have a window of time, from NOW till some future days,
to pull your affadavit of support, the I-864, with the USCIS.
If you do that, the green card will not be issued, he will have no further status in the USA .
