    I came to the US on my K1 visa. Now I should apply for adjustment of status

    I am having very hard time to get my i963 form done. I can't find a civil surgeon who will just transfer my vaccination records to these form all they want to do a med exam.

    Is there anyone who lives in the same area and who did this process without full med exam?

    You posted this question already. You can not get a K-1 visa if you have not met in person at least two years before filing your petition. Additionally if you are petitioning for a K-1 visa in Ghana and you have completed traditional engagements rites you will be considered married, your petition will be denied, and you will have to file a Cr-1. As everyone else has advised you, you will have to travel to Ghana and meet. You will most likely not be granted a visitor visa. If you plan to file a petition you need to listen to the advice given on the forum. Most people who decide not to follow advice are normally denied then after the interview they come back and ask what they should do. Follow the guides. You can inbox me if you have any questions.

    Does the NOA2 for the i 129F petition have information about the NVC. Will I be notified about my case # or will I have to contact NVC?

    No, your will receive a separate letter from NVC. Some people receive letters from NVC after their case has been processed and I've read of others not receiving a letter at all. I think the consensus on this site is to call the NVC (603-334-0700) early in the morning or late in the evening. They will have your case number roughly two weeks after you receive your NOA2, it will start with ACC. After you get the case number you can check the status of the petition with the embassy on the CEAC site. https://ceac.state.gov/ceac/ it's the same site used to fill out your DS-160. You'll also need the case number if you need to contact the embassy

    You will need several items (for the above form). Gather duplicate evidence of income and resources as appropriate:

    (A) Statement from an officer of the bank/financial institution with your deposits, identifying the following: 1. date account opened; 2. total amount deposited for the past year; 3. present balance

    (B) Statement(s) from your employer on business stationary showing: 1. Date and nature of employment; 2. salary paid; 3. whether position is temporary or permanent (also include copies of your last two pay stubs and your previous W-2 for the associated employer if available)

    © If Self Employed: 1. Copy of last income tax return filed (or IRS transcripts); or 2. report of commercial rating concern

    (D) List containing serial numbers and denominations of bonds and name of record owner(s).

    I don't have w2 from employer I have now.. I wasn't working last year...or I was not self employed.. But I do have documents showing the kind of income was receiving...

    Did you file taxes last year? If not, you should back file before the interview, you don't want to be placed in AP for missing documents. What sort of income did you recieve last year, did you meet the minimum income requirements, and how were you paid? You may want to do a quick search about claiming assessts. The embassy will base your ability to sponsor off of you past year's income. FYI: Ghana requires tax transcripts not tax returns. To the best of my knowledge this has not changed. If you want to be extra cautions you can bring a copy of your tax return and transcript. The CO may ask for it or look over it, so include it will your evidence for the interview. You're only required to submit the past year's tax info but you can submit 3 years to be on the safe side. You can print it from the IRS website https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

    I'm just posting relevant information and the sources I'm getting the information from. Anyone can read and take it with a grain of salt and decide for themselves what to do. Just being proactive. It seems inefficient to wait around on the embassy for months when government websites state differently.

    The purpose of this site is to give people correct and factual information that they can use to properly complete a visa application, not give them information that they "can read and take it with a grain of salt" . There isn't anything wrong with trying to be efficient, but that efficiency becomes inefficient when you make decisions based on incorrect information. The Ghana embassy is indeed a strange one and what may be true for every other embassy may not be true for Ghana. For example, for a K-1 visa at the Ghana embassy you are required to submit tax transcripts but the I-134 states that you need a tax return, some embassies will accept tax returns but Ghana won't in most instances. Many people get denied at the Ghana embassy. For the sake of your petition, please don't be one of those people who get an RFE, put in AP, or denied because you don't want to heed the warnings or follow advice of those who have already gone through the process.     So I believe this is possible now. Because you must pay for your visa first then fill the DS 160 then schedule the appointment.

    this where you can continue to apply and schedule online. It may have not have been this way before but it looks like its changing to where you can apply online.

    The site said the same thing when I petitioned in 2014 but the bank was Ecobank. I can almost guarantee that when your fiance receives the packets from the embassy he will be told to pay there on the day of he interview. Is there a date posted on the website that says when this was updated because I don't see a date on the site. You can't go by what's posted on these websites (so stop clicking on therm lol). However, if it has changed and you can pay the fees at a bank it will state so on one of of the forms in the packets. It seem as if you're overthinking this process from your other posts that I've read. I know this process is frustrating and you want to get to the next step swiftly but try to remain patient.

    Although it say $240 in the paragraph the table on the website shows that K1 visa is $265

    Now I'm not at this point in the K1 process to schedule anything yet. Im still weaiting for NOA2, but it seems like you could schedule your appointment online.Has anyone tried this?

    The embassy will schedule the interview, it can't be scheduled by the beneficiary or the petitioner. You are better off following information on the VJ website. Following info on the embassy website will leave you confused or missing information that you need to submit. Once your petition has been received and processed by the Ghana embassy the beneficiary should receive a call letter informing them when to pick up packets. If a few weeks have lapsed and it hasn't been received they can email the embassy. When the beneficiary picks up the packets from the embassy it will include information about medical exams, via fees, appointment date, required documentation, info about police report, photo requirements, DS-160 information, etc. All visa fees are paid in Cedis at the embassy on the day of the interview. The appointment letter will need to be presented on the day of the interview.

    I got married for my wife first visit, and she filled for me, she is visit for the second time before my interview or should she be here in Ghana within my interview, what's is the best way will it help me during my interview.

    If she comes for the interview there is not a guarantee that the CO will speak to her but if she's there I'd definitely bring her to the embassy though she will probably have to wait outside. There will be more than likely be questions because you married after only one visit. Be prepared to discuss and explain. It's good that she's visiting a second time. Make sure that you provide proof of her second visit during your interview. I hope that you front loaded the application due to only meeting once because they will more than likely have made the decision before the interview. The best way to help yourself during the interview is to be honest. well wishes
