Hi! I just became a citizen on Monday and I need to travel home to Wales on the 18th if August. It’s not enough time for me to get a US Passport, even expedited. I’m flying from Newark, NJ to Dublin, Ireland then into Bristol, England. Returning the same route in August 24th. 
 

I can fly using my British passport but how do I get back in? I plan on taking my Naturalization Certificate. What else can I do? 

I passed the interview. My oath ceremony is on august 1st! 

My interview is Friday. I’m getting my paperwork together. I have my marriage certificate and subsequent divorce papers, passport, drivers license, interview notice, 5yrs of taxes, recent pay stubs, mortgage payments. Anything I’m missing?

I didn’t need a biometric appointment. They said they’d use my previous ones. Philadelphia is my local office. 

I filed end of April and today I got my interview date. July 15th. Next month!

I did. I had 5 years on hand. Added them to my application. Im all submitted and ready for the wait! 

HI! I applied today. I immediately got a notice in my USCIS account that they can reuse my biometrics from last time and that they wont be refunding me the money 😐

You are correct Its 5 not 3. 

I'm finally pressing "submit" on my citizenship application today. Its all filled out. I came here on a K1 visa in 2012 and have been divorced coming up 4 years from a US citizen. 

I've included my divorce paperwork including changing my name back to my maiden name and 3 years of tax transcripts for myself as additional evidence. 

Im good to go right? 

Do we know if its required currently? I can apply for citizenship now but Im not sure if the covid vaccine is part if the medical. 

I had my approval letter yesterday!!! My card is in production. I have no idea why I got approved so fast!!

I HAVE NEWS!!! I just got an email from USCIS saying they mailed me my appointment letter 2 days ago so it should get here this week! It only took 2 service requests!

Ive moved since I last did any immigration so I dont know if my field office is Casper, WY which is a town of about 40,000 or if I fall under Denver now.

Ive just put in a second service request because I still havent received my biometrics appoitment letter yet. CSC received my i-751 and my receipt date is 3/26/15. Ive already received a letter saying Ive been added to the appointment scheduler and when an appointment is available, I'll receive my letter. Is there anything I can do? Its been 10 weeks since I filed and I see April and May people who also filed at CSC are getting their letters and having their appointments. There's a number of March filers who are like me and it seems to only be at CSC. USCIS told me to call back in 15 days if I still dont have my biometrics letter. How long should I wait before this becomes a real issue? Ive always had my bio letters within about 2 weeks.

I called in today and she pulled up my file. She said she could see that a service request had been made but that I'll have to wait 30 days from the date I got the response for them to be able to do anything for me. So basically I got my NOA, I waited 30 days and got no biometrics appointment, made a service request and had to wait 15 days to get a response for that, it's been another 22 days since then and I'm just supposed to roll my thumbs and wait some more..? Gosh this is so frustrating *sigh*

I did exactly the same thing. SO FRUSTRATING!! Most of May at CSC have their appointments too. What the hell is going on? And this is a service we pay heavily for!!

I got bored of waiting so I called USCIS and put in a service request for my late biometrics. They said I'll hear something in the next month via mail or email so I guess I'll keep on waiting lol

I called USCIS today because its been 32 days since I got my NOA1. I still havent had my biometrics appointment letter. They said to just wait. I'll give it a week and then I'll call back and ask for a Tier 2.

CSC seems to be real slow with giving out biometric dates!!

Seriously, apply for your SSN in your maiden name. I applied for mine in my married name and it took me 12 weeks to get it! My husband was able to add me to his Bank of America account with no SSN.

Yes Id imagine you will have to have a co-sponsor. Having an apartment worth $4000 isn't an income. USCIC and the goverment need to see actual income figures to prove you can support your fiance.

What is "AOS" "OP" "EAD" "VWP" and B visa please??
