Jill, I got your message and your wise advice will be taken. I can afford not to be putting my energy into us. This is why I asked for your input and advise. I feel lighter now. Again Thanks.. Much love sis!

Thank you for sharing. I believe that the truth shames the devil and with your truth it shows us another way of handling our situations and our own demons. You are right as American's we argue, get confused with past pains and have a hard time allowing loving peace. But I've heard an ugly side recently from a sister that is being mistreated emotionally. We all have faults we've got ...

I wanted to ask you what you though of the post on my page. I know you and Ben might not have had some of the issues but if you could please be of some GOOD ENCOURAGEMENT to some of the other ladies I'd appreciate your input. I value you opinion. I've been getting calls with tears and fights and I know all is not lost!!!

This post is a shout out to all my American Ladies fighting through the hard but good fight of adjusting to marriage, cultural differences, loosing control of who they are, not to proud to say I'm sorry when they are wrong and dealing with issues they didn't see coming as she happily waited on him to get off the plane. Everything in life has a purpose including the love you may think might get lost in all the misunderstandings, fights and in the silence. I tell you not to fight to get...

I so understand what you are speaking of. As I await my husbands interview date, trial and error has awaited at every door. We are have misunderstanding and arguing, but we know love will prevail. We have come to far to and Loved to long for misunderstands...which is actually us longing and missing each other...to fail us now. I am still awaiting him to get off of the plane.. until then!

Mrs.Orji- I so feel u on the misunderstandings. Seems the longer I am away from here the more I put foot in mouth. Trying to mend a hurt feels I did to my man. But thank God for my Nigerian man for they forgive (they have to) and I so love him for that.
Lord help and guide me through all this and his arrival and adjustment. And help me learn wisdom and patience.

I thought I'd come home tonight and cook then just chill out waiting on Prince to get home from work. It turns out I'm useless because I miss his kisses when I come thru the door, our conversation, laughing and now I just feel wretched.Seven months of being spoiled and catered to..... But this too shall pass as I get used to it!
-
Leaving is more bitter and way less sweet. But I can and will promise that in time you will feel better. Use your skype and yahoo messenger to see him...and call anytime you miss his voice..just call. Cry till you dry out and then get yourself ready for his coming home. Please update your timeline so we can see your progress or how to help you

He sent me a text of Thank You for being so patient and loving while I seached for work. It was hard to watch him struggle to find a job knowing all he wanted to do was support our family. Thoes still searching..Keep your head up!

My suggestion: when you get that far and your case is closed and moved to the consulate. Call NVC every other day for an interview date. You have to get on thier nerves so in about two weeks or so they will give you the date. They are gonna give you some bull about waiting 60+ days. That is a lie. Just be persistant and you will have your date soon. I'm so excited for you.
