  1. It is difficult to guide you without the facts. Generally at USCIS case is assigned to one officer. So all the communication will go to him/her.

Yes, I have been assigned to an officer but is this a general mailbox? If I send the email to CSC, do you think when I place my referral id it will automatically go to the officer who was supposed to get my fax?

  2. Due to the heavy volume of petitions there is no way to accurately estimate the time each of us will have to wait to receive our NOA2. This is because the individuals here on VJ only make up a small percentage of the actual load of cases iled at each service center. Therefore, all of us who are still waiting and see others who filed after us are quite upset. It is very disheartening to see this taking place. Also, calling NCSC is useless for the most part. I would just advise you to wait until you reach the 5 month mark and then file a service request on your case or even a congress inquiry. This is what the NCSC avised me to do on my case. I pray niether of us have to hit that 5 month mark.

  3. They are great at it, I would give them a grade of an A+ at making our lives harder!

Would you all like to get together and mail them a trophy (for slowest service center) with all of our signatures on it?

I am very curious why there has not been any approvals out of CSC since Sept 30 for July filers.

On igor's list you can see it is evident they are skipping all around July. Is something wrong with our July petitions?

  4. I looked at igor's list and saw this:

It seems as though many August I-130 applications are already being approved? I see many 26 day approvals. What is that all about?

  5. I feel you so much... I am exactly going thru this same feeling and so much frustrated at this waiting. I really hope everyone gets their approval and this wait be over soon INSHALLAH.

It makes you want to just crawl into a time capsule and come out after the approval. Doesn't it? Just freeze everything until you wake up and you have your approval. I pray we all get approved in October and/or November at the latest!

  6. I am in the same boat too. I dont know why there is such a disparity in the time they process application. Its unfair and disheartening when you see application submitted months after you being approved within a short time and when you call the IDIOTS in the customer service. All what they tell you is to wait till 5 Months and call back... I m so so frustrated

Isn't it upsetting? I mean the heartache is tremendous. I have been losing sleep and crying over this. I need my husband here with me. I really am stressed out because the people on the customer service line are jerks. Also, I have spoken to tier 2 more than 5 times and they are arrogant and rude. I really give up at this point and feel I have to just wait until one day they decide to approve my petition. Who knows how long it could take if you do not push your way out of the file cabinet. I mean look at all of the long waiters here on VJ! This situation alone upsets me. Not to mention many people have to undergo lengthy AP and then that just adds to the separation of them and their spouses. I am at breaking point here!

  7. Well I hope it will not take longer then everyone else.. I dont think it will matter what country the other person is from for them to take a long time to process it unless they request more evidence which will affect the time. I think i sent enough evidence with lotss of wedding pictures.

CSC approved (issued) an NOA after 60 days to someone with a spouse from Lebanon this week. So, I think you can not guess on these things. It is like tossing a coin. I think they play musical files, they sit about 20 of them in chairs and they process whichever one they sit on. LOL-Ok, maybe not a good joke but I really feel this way nowadays because I see approvals zip out in like 16 days and here I am 63 days past NOA1 and others 5 and 8 months waiting. It is really sad!

  8. Hi..... I mailed to IVphnompenh@state.gov which is the an email of the u.s embassy in Cambodia and they said they are mailing the packet 3 to my address in Cambodia. My fiancee in the state got hard N02 on september 8th, 2011. I just wanna know when i can get that packet 3? Where i can track that packet 3?

From this link http://photos.state...._for_fiance.pdf, What should i do with it?

First, i know i should fill out the form ds-230I, I-134, and Of-169 then reply to u.s embassy in phnom penh, right? (only ds-230i, I134 and of-169, right?)

Second, Should i check on the checklist from number 1 to 14? Should i leave it uncheck if i don't have for example military support or court and prison records?

At the end of the instruction they say

    Enclosures:

1- Form DS-230 (Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration).

    2- DS-156K (Nonimmigrant Fiancé(e) Visa Application Form)

3- DS-157 (Supplemental Nonimmigrant Visa Application-for all Male Applicants between the age of 16 to 45, regardless of nationality or place of application.) The above forms can be downloaded from http://travel.state.gov

4- Form I-134 (Affidavit of Support). Can be downloaded from www.uscis.gov

5- Form I-864P (Poverty Guideline) Can be downloaded from www.uscis.gov

    6- Medical instruction

    7- Photo instruction

What does it mean? is that mean i have to bring all of this documents to the u.s embassy on my interview date?

Again and again, What i understand is to fill out the form ds-230, I-134 and of-169 and sent to u.s embassy? the rest is to bring it on my interview day, right?

    Thanks for helps

Congratulations! Pray for the rest of us!

  9. Good evening VJ'ers,

OK taking a deep breath.......acting my age lol....... Noa2 in mail!!!!! OK got that out of my system. No e-mail, no text message, just the good old mail box. Bill, bill, bill, junk mail, junk mail, or whats this...... Those indeed are some tense moments. Still have a way to go, but getting this sucker sure does feel good. A big thanks to all those here, that have answered so many questions either directly or indirectly. And an even bigger good luck to those still waiting for that email, text message or yes even the envelope in the mail.
