We had to redo everything because somebody stole our paperwork. It is a really long and depressing story. :"( I feel like somebody is out to get me these days. Maybe I am just paranoid but it really seems that way at time. I got denied my expedite service request as well as help from the ombudsman. :"( Nothing seems to be going my way in my life. Very sad right now. Thank you for youe prayers! I will pray for you too!

I agree with Inky and status updates from USCIS are hit or miss even when it is an approval or RFE. I would like to offer something on the change of address if I might. My Fiancées (Beneficiary) address changed while our K-1 petition was at USCIS and I chose to wait until the case got to NVC update it. I did it over the phone and asked her to read it back to me because Pinyin isn't always written as it sounds and I wanted to be sure they had it right. When it got to the embassy in Guangzhou I sent them an email again with the correct address and got a reply that the file was updated. She also sent an email. Maybe we did too much. We ended up with a 30 day delay because Jing'an was spelled Jin'ang and she never got Package 3.

So my advice is to check with DOS to make sure the change was made so as not to cause a problem down the road at the embassy.

Oh wow! I am glad on my letter it is spelled correctly. I think that all things are clear for now.

Although I only filed again 2 months ago can you add me too? I am in ill health and my marriage was 6 months ago. I really need the NOA2 to come in a decent timeframe. I do not want to jump in front of those ahead of me but my health is so bad that I would like to have the approval before a large amount of time passes. So, please add me too if you can. Thank you.

I have a question. Is it possibe for the USCIS to update your address without your case being touched? I received a letter saying that they updated my address on my file and in their system but there was absolutely no touch nor any status update online. Is it possible that they still really did change my address?

Hubby had his interview this morning at 8:30am. He was there for 4 hours. The CO asked 2 questions. Looked at both albums. We had a small ceremony and a huge one later. She commented on how gorgeous both weddings were and said thats all she needed to see. He will pick up visa in 3-5 working days. GOD IS GOOD!! :dance:
