Look at the "Priority Date" on your NOA1. From your timeline I see that it's September 12 but please re-confirm.
If the above is true and the agent told you they're currently on September 10....then yours should be coming in any day now. Hope for the best and call them once a week to ask for which date they are currently working on. As soon as their priority date exceeds your priority date...you will be eligible for a service request.
Good luck and be patient. CSC has been moving the slowest. It took almost 7 months to get my approval as well.
We have waited 8 months for an approval from CSC for our I-130. When you feel bad after 5 months then please remember us. Good luck.

Hi
thank u for your feed back
I am just wondering if you provided all what was requested on your RFE ? in my case, they requested bank statements b4 and after each trip, airline tickets, name of relatives in the USA and overseas and why they didnt attend the wedding. hotel reciepts, CC charges for hotel, airline ticket and the ring i purchased for my wife, name of the person who accompanied me during my trips, call logs, pics and others....in may case, i have almost around 85% of the requirments but for the rest I am gonna writed an explanatory letter describing why thosse documents are unavailabe.
The other question i have is do I have to go thru the same procedures at the US consulate in Casa ?
I look 4ward to hear from u
Most people who fail to send everything requested or an affidavit explaining why it is NOT included have not been approved or it has taken a LONG time for them to get an approval. If you want to prevent a second RFE or a denial then you need to go ahead and submit ALL of what they have requested as soon as possible. Our box was a large priority US postal service mailing box. It took 2 days to get there and it weighed 9lbs. We sent so much to them and we still have not heard anything back yet. It took a good month to get it all together. I think you should try to get affidavits from people about their knowledge of your before and after relationship. They requested courtship evidence from us and credit card statements if we had met online on a match site. They asked for some crazy things that made no sense to us at all. We responded to everything and I lost many hours and days of sleep. I was up all night long gathering emails, call logs, chat logs, photos, etc trying to compile enough evidence to get them off of our cases. I pray that my efforts and my wife's do not go without us being approved. Pray for us and we will pray for you.

We received an extensive RFE but with less pages than yours. Ours was only two pages long but they asked for some crazy things. It took us almost a month to gather all of the documents. We were to send in 8 documents and we responded to all 8 of them with about 800 pages or more. The box weighed 9 lbs that we sent to USCIS. They still have not approved us but it has only been a week since they received it. It is best to respond to most of what they have asked for the best way you can. It said on ours not to leave anything out.

My wife, who is made of cute, has a good phrase for this kind of thing.. "hug hug". I'm sorry you're still having to wait and that it has been so long. Has your Congressmen and Senators been unable to do anything?
Thank you.
hey Funfetti,
I really pray and hope that you hear the good news soon. If you don't mind me asking, what was your RFE about? You don't have to tell me anything personal I just want to know what item they asked for.
Hello. It was 8 documents. An extensive RFE.

I hope so too! I still follow this thread exclusively to see you get your NOA2.
Thank you! Please pray for me. I see you are already finished now. Congratulations on your new life ahead!

Although I'm not a July filer, I, too wonder where they have all gone to..
It seems like I am the only one still lurking around.
Maybe soon we can stop lurking around too.
-
I guess since he's just a toddler, his case is easier to approve. Nothing to check much about his background or whatever. Thanks for the prayers. Will also pray for you. Looking forward to that day when we make an update about being with our loved ones already. :-)
So, who else from July is still waiting? I am waiting for that day too when we can be with our loved ones. I am sad nowadays.
-
Hi Funfetti. My son and I have the same priority date but he got his NOA2 last month already. I agree with you that God's timing is perfect and even I cannot question that. But I need God's grace to help me be patient. Hope everything will turn out well on your side. I'm sorry I don't know anything about expedite request attached with a requested document letter.
I am sorry to hear that you are still waiting. That is very strange that he'd be approved and not you. What do they say about it when you inquire? I will pray for you that your case will be approved soon also and that God will give you the needed strength to get through this test of time. This is jut a phase we must go through and a struggle until we get to our loved ones.
-
Count me in! But of course you guys have been waiting longer than I have. :-)
It seems like you did get one NOA2. What happened to the other one? I can't complain on the timing of things actually. I would have had a setback in paying the fees associated with NVC had we gotten approved already. Therefore, now I have the financial resources available to go through NVC more rapidly than before. I can not complain now because any day now that I get approved I will be able to afford all of the fees associated with the process. I believe Allah (God) has the perfect timing for everything. So, all I can say is Allah (God) is the greatest and I will await the time when is suitable for us to get approved. Hopefully as soon as we mail off this document they are requesting we will be approved in a few days or weeks. Sadly, we celebrated our 1st anniversary on cam a few weeks back.
Does anyone know if you can attach an expedite request letter with a requested document letter?

I was reading elsewhere of someone who was put in AP while waiting for NOA2 for I-130. They only found out after their congressman made an inquiry and was told it was in AP. Maybe yours is in AP also. Apparently it looks like USCIS doesn't liek to tell you it is in AP.
I think after they get the document they have requested we should be in the clear. Pray for me. I do not think I am in AP. My congressman said they just want a document. So, I am sending that in on Wednesday God's willing. I pray shortly after they get that then we will get the approval.

Waiting
Anymore long waiters?

So there was no help from congressmen or senators? Were they able to put in a service request? Did you try contacting the ombudsman? http://www.dhs.gov/xabout/structure/cisomb.shtm
Yes, I contacted the Ombudsman. So, how are all of you doing?

HI guys!
Just posting to find out how many of us VJ august 2011 filers are still left hanging here, waiting for the precious NOA2 to come. And I'm hoping you guys are doing well. :-)
I am a July filer still no word.
-
Hi July filers! Any of you here reached over 8 months of waiting for NOA2?
Congrats on the approval!
Nothing here yet.
-
How are all of you? I hope you are all well.
-
Wow this seems pretty intense. It is very sad that he had to undergo such harsh treatment. We pray that you come out of this soon. May Allah help you at this time. Stay strong sis.
-
You have our sympathy. At least we know the CSC is still open.
Congratulations to all of you with progress! May Allah help all of us in our journey! Oh and due to some unforeseen issues here on VJ I wont be on for awhile. I will talk to you guys in a few months.
-
Congratulations! You had been so upset! I am so happy for you!

No, I do not mind at all! I called the congressman and they did a status inquiry for me. I had to go to that level to get it because the NCSC inquiry was useless. Therefore, the congressman's office informed me that I was with an officer and that if I do not hear anything by February 20th to inform them with a call and then they will inquire once again.
For what it's worth I just as well not be with an officer. He is skipping all around me! I have witnessed cases all scattered around me getting approved on the 3rd, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th and here I am still waiting! It is really upsetting! I do not know what order they work in. I think they just randomly pull your case out of a bin.
We were told the same thing. I think your NOA1 is the same as ours? I am trying to remain optimistic. After 200+ days it gets harder every coming day to remain that way. I am trying to find things to keep me busy. In the back of my mind I just keep imagining the time I have to spend here added with the AP time and that is hurting me so much. I really pray that this week we will hear something.
-
Im sorry, u want the last 4 digits of my wac?
Wow! 203 days here and nothing.
-
His NOA1 is dated one day after my own...
But congrats to you! We are all just a bitter, jealous bunch.
I would not say "jealous or bitter" more like "sad and depressed".
-
Just got NOA2 Email/Text today!!
What time was the email actually dated? I am curious what the time is that they issue these NOA2s or if it varies. At any rate, "congratulations" your NOA1 was dated 2 days after my own.
-
I just got off the phone with USCIS they said they are processing July 12th and that their dates get updated every 15th.... Im a July 26th filer... im still waiting....
Yes but if you type in WAC case numbers in your range and just change the last 2 numbers then you will see many approved on Friday. That was what I did over the weekend with my wife. Many were approved but we were skipped. Like every 5 applications was approved. Weird, huh?
How Long Was It?
