I talked to my senators office yesterday. They said there are no red flags and the embassy does not need anything else from us, so they just have to finish processing. They will call back next week if Ahmed still does not have his visa. The embassy is saying interal AP. I asked them if they can call someone and they said no, as they could not step on toes and tell someone to work faster, but then after I asked again, they said they would email to find out where it is in the process.
