  1. Tim, Dan is correct. We filed our K1 when I was 17, got the approval notice 4 months after the receipt notice and is approved at USEM interview. I met another VJ member with the same experience. She even had prior k1 petition (filed by her ex-fiance),which was approved after a few months but she cancelled later on. Her 2nd fiance (now husband) filed her i-129f and got approved in 5 months! Her AOS was approved too and she has her conditional green card now.

    Well, there you go

    Case closed!

  2. Of course I can see this info on their website. The thing is that when you fly to the Philippines you always see people checking BB Boxes so we were thinking about doing the same thing but how can we do it if we can't get the needed info? I mean if it would just cost extra then be polite and tell us.

Not sure what you mean...if the box is over the weight and dimensions listed, they will charge you. As you said the needed info is there?

As long as you know the dimensions of your box.

  3. "but it irritates me when someone post some off-the-cuff "smart-@$$" remark as if this forum is a comedy stage" Yea, me to. I know a guy, his name is Billy J Bumblaster, and he is very interested in your question as he would love to come to the US and meet other guys like himself, please leave your name and contact info, he will be sure to get back to you.....

An interesting post from someone named Dirtsquirter.

  4. Now in need of a new rice cooker (appliance, not wife). Any suggestions on which cookers are best? Rin preferred a certain brand of cooker in Thailand that isn't available in the USA (also can't bring one back due to voltage difference). Her main complaint about the one I have is rice cannot be left in the cooker overnight on "hold warm" without burning.

    zojirushi.

  5. I Love it  I never did get used to the toilet thing when I was there and at first could not find the toilet paper. I stayed with my girl's parents and on my first trip to the grocery (my first day) I bought some 'tissue'. They said not to put that into the toilet, but I stood by my guns and said it was am American thing. I have been thinking of how to approach her delicately about some bathroom issues (i.e. toilet seats, flushing the paper, and even using paper) Any advise?

    The best of both worlds:
