  1. I have been looking at the data from the timelines (as I am waiting myself for NOA2 from CSC, and bored waiting, I guess).

Granted, this is data that is self reported by VJ members, and some may not have inputted their data yet.

Blue squares: Days from NOA1 to NOA2 of those that have reported NOA2's. For these, I ignored the points obviously expedited, as well as those that had reported RFE's.

Red diamonds (right y axis): % of those who have NOA1 but not NOA2 yet at selected NOA1 filing times, again ignoring reported RFEs (but not expedited). Roughly estimated looking at the data (not an exact #), but gives a general picture of outstanding NOA2's, and a definite point where things have changed.

The line that forms from the yellow triangles is the # days from NOA1 until today (2-9-13), which means: if you don't have your NOA2 yet, your # days till your NOA2 will be somewhere above that line.

So it appears, if you got NOA1 after July 19 or so (except for a lucky few), you are feeling the DACA shaft. That second group of points, centered ~175 days are also actually lucky, based on the % of applicants still waiting for their NOA2, and will end up above the yellow triangle line.

It is not a pretty picture for those who got NOA1 after mid july.

  2. cfo sticker is as valuable as your visa and passport so its impossible not to have it in your RP passport before leaving the Philippines..

For emigrating, yes. But you can leave the Philippines without one, if you are taking a "trip" to another SEA country...

  3. They flew to Hong Kong first, then they decided to come straight to the US instead of returning to Philippines as originally planned so we could spend christmas together.

Hmmm, so if a K1 fiance were to pass the medical and the embassy interview, and get the visa, they could take a "trip" to Hongkong, then get a ticket to the states, since she has a visa?

    Hmmmmm.....

  4. no sis he will submit service request on our sixth month daw..yes and he called yesterday he was told the same so he said we will wait because we are july 17th filer...

When I check the VJ K1 historical graphs, it says NOA1 to NOA2 at CSC is currently 106 days  Sept 22 are now being processed.

Then I searched NOA2 CSC received by date here.. Looking at some of the entered dates for NOA1, I am calling BS...either a lot of these people have some kind of "in" in the system and are getting petitions forwarded in 1-3 months, or they have no idea what they are filling out in their timelines.

Folks, it does others no good if you fill in the wrong dates in the timelines... :bonk:...or perhaps they slipped a hundred dollar bill on top of their K1 packet....

  5. Wow, completely disagree, children should always come first. Spouses may come and go, children are above them.

When I read comments like this, I always think about this article: http://thestir.cafemom.com/love_sex/128932/loving_the_husband_more_than

and truly realize which situation is superior...

Besides that, the adult in the household should be the main benefactor for the reasons stated above...you can always set up a trust should you want a portion to go to your children.

  6. It sounds like you are not married yet (just recently arrived on your K1)?

If so, you are in luck.

If there isn't a complete reversal in her attitude, it will likely not get better when you are married. It will most likely get worse.

You are lucky that you can just send her on a plane back.

If you follow through with marriage, it may turn out very bad.

There are plenty of woman of good women in the world...don't make this mistake.
