Yes, Darnell is is arrogant, with a touch of conceitedness thrown in. He's straight forward and to the point, he doesn't sugar coat it, to the point that it's sometimes rude. Sometimes that's what people need in order to understand what is being told to them. That's Darnell, but 99.9% of the time he's right.
Rujby's situation is horrible, any one with an ounce of empathy feels for his plight. He has strong, compelling evidence, from what he's told us, to get an expedite.
Darnell's point is, Rujby has been told what to do to get his expedite since the end of February/ beginning of March. He's been given advice by more than just Darnell. Everything Rujby's been told to do, has been ignored by Rujby, other than sending in an email. He hasn't gathered the evidence, he and his wife, have chose to wait to get the much needed letter. He's been told to send in his wife's medical records. It's always been either, 'we're going to another doctor', 'My wife is waiting for the next appointment' etc.
It seems anyone who dares disagree with him, or try to reiterate that he hasn't sent the evidence in, is then admonished or ignored by Rujby.
I'm not sure if this is a communication issue, a language barrier, or what. If the advice he was given, was heeded and followed through with, a month ago, he would probably be on his way to the US as this is written. Now the case is closed and he has no other choice than to wait on an interview to be assigned to him.

You come to ask advise but you have your heart made up all ready that you will come to the US if you get a visa not matter how dark a lie you are making. The visa you applied for is for a couple to be together, yet you are no longer a couple. You have posted on a public board monitored by immigration and you are destined for AP where they will look at things closer. Is your soon to be ex still willing to sponsor you ? Does she know that she is on the hook for the affidavit of support long after you will be lying in the arms of another woman. If you sign divorce papers right after getting to the US you will be trying to remove conditions with no proof of have a valid relationship. Getting to the US is not the end of the battle and you are almost sure to lose your green card if you get it in the first place. If you want to do the right thing , which I doubt you do , you would call off the current interview, divorce the current wife and start a fresh and honest immigration process with your new love. If not you are no better than the 419 boys that Nigeria is known for. It is the type that scam their way through life that gives Nigeria a name good Nigerians hate. And from your words so far I see you are one of the bad boys.

Why to wait? I sense inertia due to ignorance of process has swamped you, much. Your wife, even more so.

Priority Dates are more for limited immigrant visas. CR-1 doesn't follow a priority date path.
Getting your interview depends on the individual consulate/embassy. They have to tell NVC the slots they have open.
If the consulate/embassy in Hati doesn't have open appointments until June, Hati CR-1 filers will be given those June slots first by expedite, priority date, then all others. If two people complete NVC on the same day, the person with the longest priority date gets an appointment before the other.
Example; Joe's case complete was March 23rd, Dave's March 22nd, and Jane's March 21st.
Joe had an expedite case, so he gets the first slot open. If someone cancelled in May, Joe gets that slot.
Dave and Jane have to wait for the next available schedule to be released. Hati sends NVC the schedule, and there are open appointments scattered through out June. So Dave gets the first one, Jane gets the next etc..

I'm calling NVC at 4:35pm est. eastern standard time and see if we get a CC today, hopefully Kellys gone home by then ! Also for the record, NVC updates there files at 4:30pm est.

Ok so.. finally got the AOS checklist in my email.. I was way ahead of NVC in the game
They are indeed asking for W2s for 2011. I called this evening to make sure I sent the right information and if I should send something else.
I talked to Pauline, who was awesome! Apparently I confused the "jet-boy" (Darnell's reference) who was reviewing my I-864. She went over my AOS and said that marking unemployed and listing student is what messed it up and why they asked for W2's
"Obviously someone didn't read the form properly, so let me make sure I have everything correct to note in your file;
you are a full time student and your business dissolved in 2011.
You marked unemployed on the I-864 and listed Student and the college you attend.
You sent an email yesterday evening with your MTL number in the subject line, you wrote a letter explaining your tax situation and attached the Schedule C for 2011?"
"Yes, m'am."
"That is all we need. It is noted your income is below poverty level and your joint sponsor is sufficient. Someone will review your checklist email, and you'll get an answer in a few days." She also told me my IV package is there and being reviewed "As we speak"
She apparently can see my AOS file, because she told me congratulations for finishing my degree and graduating in May. (I sent a letter from the school stating I'm a full time student, my degree and my estimated graduation date)
Best person I've talked to during this whole thing other than Jim
Now to wait on the AOS checklist documentation to be reviewed.

woohoo. IV is paid, sent in IV EP package and filled out DS-260. I also got the email that the checklist documentation has been received. Now taking bets on case complete date!

well, every one's got a hobby, right?
Mine is recovering dead volvos.
This one had been sitting for 3 years. Didn't take much to get her going again . I was so happy, I put in a carpooter , coupla screens , and put purple neon in the undercarriage, matching the original paint colour. It's sweet. Also did some hack on the gps voice, used my wife's voice (in chinese) for the turning thingies. I'm thinking to make a removeable propane grill rig in the trunk, have it magically flip out when I push a button on the remote control. There's so much room in this trunk, though - I'm sure I'll think of something else a bit less hazardous.
It's not my main vehicle.. It's just a hobby, after all. It does turn some heads . I'm actually really creative with my work and hobbies (yes, I do have others) but mostly, here, I try to give 'the straight poop' with, or without poutine references.
FWIW, once a month I'll spew a bunch of youtube links around vj, just to keep it light
