  1. You are still " messing up". You forgot to include the info people would need to offer advise. Like what you forgot to send in.

You called & were told how much the motion would cost but want a different answer? Its is correct.

Do we know what we are talking about? The real question is do you? There has to be more to this than you have said.

Its unlikely you would be granted a tourist visa after someone files an immigration petition for you. You will be asked about this if you apply. Study the strongest ties rule prior to attempting a tourist visa. Make sure you know what you are talking about.

Uncalled for.Is it so hard to leave your personal opinion or feeling out when we respond to a post?

  2. Folks, wouldn't it be easier/better if she did a spousal visa instead of a K1 being that she has been married before and filed under a spouse visa? or does it make a difference?Would USCISfind it a little strange if after she filed a spouse visa, she goes back to file a K-1? And would there be any red flags that she is filing twice or will they look at each case on its own merit? thanks.

  3. :wow:You people are scaring me - we have 3 strikes against us.... different race, I am the older woman, different religions :( Maybe only 1 good thing - we're not going through Delhi, but Mumbai. But is that even enough?? Praying for a miracle here now

Keep in mind nobody on VJ is an adjudicator, people are merely stating what their opinions are based on same/similar circumstances but no two circumstances are the same and you cannot account for what the CO is thinking on who the CO on a specific case is.Dont be afraid based on the posts you read here.

  4. I am in the same boat. I did not send the intenty to marry form and I just left my fiancee on tuesday 6/28/11. Did I mention I had the forms downloaded on my laptop. AY-YA-YAI! I feel like a dumb fool. I did try to get on VJ while I was there in Haiti but there was no internet access. I am going to mail it to him and have him sign it and mail it back to me to see if they can attach it to my file.

What would I do without VJ and friends...

I agree with the previous poster who said that sending something after you have sent your documents is an exercise in futility.I forgot to inlcude a suppliment to question 18, when we met..... and I sent it with my NOA1 and a letter of instyruction. They just mailed it back to me. So dont bother, just wait till they send you a RFE and then include it.

  5. What is important is the information that is contained in the original post.Who posted it or where it came from hardly seems relevant. It gives us an idea of what case officers could be looking for.It wouldnt matter to me if I came across this information in a public restroom much less the UScis website.A lot of us here on VJ, take advisce and recommendations of people here who are not immigration experts or even case officers. What is the big deal in debating the source of this document?

  6. It took about a week for mine.Check out my timeline. Some offices do a same day oath ceremony if they do then you can be sworn in the same day.The denver office does same day oath ceremonies.I know of people who took the interview at 9am and were sworn in at 1pm the same day.
