The accuracy might be a little off.I know a lot of June filers have received NOA2.I havent heard of any July filers receiving NOA2 so I dont know how August filers could be getting them.I am an August filer and I am expecting that they will be reviewing them around december.
-
Very normal.I have been at initial review since August 22ND.
-
You can get it at www.irs.gov it will ask you to put in your personal information and then you can request it from the IRS website.Good luck.i got mine in about 10 days.

These are excerpts from another interview.Jen is the petitioner and Bbs is the bene, jen and babs who had their interview approved recently.Again this is from their experience at the embassy taken from
After that the officer mainly asked me questions. He asked me about when I was in Peace Corps and how many times I had been to Ghana and looked at my passport. He said all of our evidence was fine that he had no questions about our relationship and that was the good news. The bad news was that I don't have tax transcripts and the Accra embassy requires tax transcripts. I asked why when I had two other forms of evidence like the I-134 form required, but he said it was a post policy so there is no way around it. He said I will need a cosponsor since i was not regularly employed last year and can't produce tax transcripts.
That was the bad news. But it wasn't too bad because he gave us another appointment for the next week. That gave us time to get a signed ORIGINAL I-134 from the co-sponsor with tax transcripts (only). the transcripts could be faxed but the form had to be original signed so we had to get it DHL. The officer was really helpful as far as giving me specific information about this.
The following week Babs went back and turned in the forms from the cosponsor. They didn't ask any more questions, but we had a mistake with the tax form (tax returns instead of transcripts). The officer (a different officer from the last time) gave him the link to the IRS website and gave him another appointment two weeks later. Really they were pretty patient with all of that. By the next date we had the transcripts as required and Babs handed them in. They took his contact information and said they would call him about when to pick up the visa. Now we are just waiting on Administrative Processing and praying it will be taken care of quickly. Thank God for getting us this far.

I would certainly advise that you get tax TRANSCRIPTS, not tax returns. See below which I copied from the review page.Good Luck.

My first interview was on December 23, 2010. I was called around 12:30 (20 minutes after fingerprinting and documents submission) and the Consular Officer (CO) was very nice and professional. I didn't have any complication just a normal conversation as to how and when I met my wife. My wife and I were missionaries in Indonesia and got married there, and the CO happened to have stayed in Indonesia for 12 months, so our conversation took another dimension - we talked about Indonesia and favorite Indonesian food and stuff! In all it was a wonderful experience. The CO had no issue with me except that I didn't bring tax transcripts for 2008-2009. The CO said: "I'm fine with you and I don't have any problem with your relationship, but there's a little problem; you didn't bring tax transcripts for 2008-2009. This is what we're going to do: I'm giving you a form that I want you to scan to your wife to get you those papers. I would have asked you to come back tomorrow, but it's going to take some time for her to get you those papers. How about January 12?" So I was given another date (January 12) to bring the tax papers.

OK.I was not talking about Turkey.I see what you mean now.I was talking along general processing for K1-S worldwide.

I was looking at some people who filed in middle of June and just got their NOA2.Their interview date was January. We filed in August and I am expecting my interview date to be between March and April.

ONe thing I notice about people on this site is... they always blaming the USCIS.
(myself included: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/333712-wow-dont-i-feel-special/)
I'm a little new to this site, in regards to being a regular user.
My best suspicion (couldn't there be a million scenarios here?) is that
1) someone did a very inept job
2) someone is mis-reporting
3) someone is presenting a hoax
Well, I mean, the poster herself, said: "This has NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE" probably.
Now, I understand,... nothing surprises me, and there's always a first time for everything.
Sometimes, we just simply fail to follow even the most simple and mundane rules, for our own neglect and other-life-distractions.
I completely agree with this post.I have never heard of such a situation. My hunch is that the paperwork was not sent.Anyone who sends a package should get tracking and delivery and signature confirmation. No way will it take such a long time to get a NOA1.

Congratulations!!!! Its been a long and hard road but you made it and thats all that counts.Congrats again!!!!!

have any of my ghana interviewers brought their spouse in with them during interview? I will be there during my fiancee's, and we arnt sure how to approach them at the embassy about this issue. If anyone would please share how they went about it that would help a bunch. Thank you
When is your interview? I just filed and am waiting for my NOA2.I want to follow your timeline since we are both going through the Accra embassy. Can you share with me whether your fiancee had to go to the embassy to pick up her packet three or was it mailed to her? Also how long does it take from when the NVC sends your case to Accra before the interview is scheduled. This information will greatly help me and allay my anxieties.Thanks.

Check the Reviews:Embassy/USCIS&POE tab at the top of the page. There are a few examples of people who went to the interview.Good luck and let us know how it goes.

This website is amazing and has some of the best people. That being said, there are some people on here who seem to just want to make people feel stupid or bring them down. I have seen posts asking about booking flights and scheduling weddings and yes, you shouldn't do any of that until the visa is in hand but NO ONE IS PERFECT. People get excited and may get bad advice and jump the gun a bit. Does that give anyone the right to be mean or disrespectful to someone else? We are ALL on here b/c we want to marry our loved one so maybe people could try having a little compassion for the other people on here. If someone asks a question that you think is stupid, JUST DON'T REPLY!!!!! My mother always used to say "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all". Maybe some of the people on here need to follow that mantra. Just b/c you're miserable doesn't mean you have to try to convert everyone else into a life of misery as well.
Good luck to everyone and God bless!!
I completely agree. There are so many great people who are very knowledgeable about the process and are willing to help with suggestions and advice. On the other hand there are others who are just rude and think they know everything and are quick to make judgements and sometimes are downright disrespectful.I remember a few weeks ago someone posted about not getting her citizenship because of a past indescretion. The backlash that followed was amazing.the thread ended up being closed.I want to say I appreciate all the good people with real knowledge who are willing to help and not accuse, judge or name call.Thank you for keeping this site great.

why dont you use skype to make all your call. you can get a skype to go number which will allow you to make calls from your cell/land phone at skype rates. you can get your call logs when you use skype to go number. you can also use an application that can get you all your call logs from skype. i think skype is cheaper and more convenient.
Charley, Jarta can you help me with how to use skype to get the call logs?I have the skype to go number but I am not sure how to get the call logs correctly.can anyone help?

When the io Cambell welcomed me i knew it would have been a tough one for me
I was prepared and ready with certified court disposition of my arrest in 2009 for patronizing and led guilty to misdemanor
Mr campbell , a tall african american io, went through the whole app including trips counts date stamps in passport and travel dates.
Then he repeated all questions in n400 and at the question "have u ever been arrested" i saud yes and i went into emotions and cried a bit
As he cntinued asking me qyestions i was still emotional and he offered me tissue and a bowaterof water
Passed with "aa" all tests and handed me a letter " decision cant be made" and said a supervisor had to look at it.
Does anyine knows mr campbell? How many chances ive to pass?
I gave him the original certified copy of court disposit so if i want to reapply how do i get a copu back?
Thanks
But you were not denied right.I had my citizenship interview and they told me the same thing a decision cannot be made.three days later they sent me a letter saying I had been approved.
I hope it works out the same for you.
-
Sorry to hear that.Did they say why you were denied?
-
Thanks most of these links do not work.I was able to confirm the information on the USCIS website.

This topic has managed to continue and is now 6 pages long and two days old.Mainly because we have people who want to be judges of character.I have to say that this is the first time on visa journey that people have posted 6 pages with about half of those pages address irrelevant isues or just blasting the person who needed a simple answer. Many times when someone posts people simply ask the person to provide as much info as possible in order to be helped. Now that this person has given all the info, we have some of the "God's" of Visa journey descending on her like a ton of bricks.I wonder if she even got her initital question answered instead of the grandstanding that some people here have shown.
Ibluemoonl.I hope you realize that not everyone on VJ has taken the judgemental, I am better than you stance. There are a lot of people who support you here.

I think some of you have gone over the top attacking this guy.To call him a thief when you do not know the facts of the case is not fair.He/she was simply asking for advice on how to proceed, not for people to sit in judgement and issue personal attacks.I want to apologize that you posted something here and this is the response you got.VJ is better than that.Sorry.As far as your situation, I dont know how to proceed.

Can someone please explain how this works?I saw a timeline where someones priority date was in October 2008 and their interview date is October 2011.Does that mean that it is taking about three years for EVERY petition? I have a friend who is planning on filing this year.does he have to wait three years before getting an interview date? Also what does the completed date mean and does it mean that if its been completed an interview date will follow shortly.I have seen some cases where the PD was in 2010 and the completed date was this year.Does that mean an interview date is near or does it mean there could still be a 3 year waiting period from the case completed date?
thank you.

When I had my interview, I also passed and I was told that a decison could not be made at that time.i got a letter three days later asking me to attend the oath ceremony the following week.
-
Thanks a lot jen.I will email the embassy so that they dont waste their time sending a letter to nowhere.Any updates on basbs case yet?
-
OK.from your timeline, I see that packet 3 was mailed to you.Weere any documents mailed to your beneficiary?
-
The I-129F and G325A clearly asks that we put a street address/physical address on the form. The problem is that not all countries have a sophisticated postal system where the mail is delivered to home addresses. Most countries uses P.O Boxes and most people do not even know their street addresses .For fear of having the form returned to me.I found out the street address and listed it on the form. Now I am worried that they will mail documents to my fiancee at that address.I was under the impression that once the file are sent to the local consulate they will in turn have my fiancee come and pick up the forms, I didnt know that they will be mailing anything to her.
Can someone please confirm if this is true? Does packet 3 and 4 get sent to the beneficiary by mail or do they go to the consualte to pick up applicatiopn forms and opther documents.
Thanks.

I would wait till around the interview date to get the vaccinations done. They have specific hopsitals that they have to do the vaccinations.
I have heard the medicals cost about $350 but that could alsways change. The visa fee is also about $350
