Funny how when a white guy defends himself against a black kid assaulting him, it's race related.
Yet when a bunch of black kids assault or kill a white person, race has nothing to do with it. It's all about the breakdown of the family or other socio-economic factors.

we also only have internet, no TV... we watch everything we want on Netflix, online or MLB.TV..
just wanted to add that we have our desktop tower hooked up by HDMI to our 55" TV so we don't have to watch things on a small screen..

OK lets stick to facts.
There has already been a white house petition that failed, because it did not get enough support
They are banned because they have a toy on the inside and kids where dying from the choking hazard
The movement started in the UK by parents who had children that died from the chocking hazard
There are a lot of things you can not bring in the US including Cuban cigars
Why would you want to bring in a product that presents a choking hazard to small children, why do you want to kill babies?
P.S. I find that usually, if you want support for your cause, tell the truth.When you start out telling people they are banned because of the chocolate, and then make a widely false claim about guns, which has nothing to do with the subject, people dismiss you as a crack pot.

I would have to disagree with you. Many people on this board are very strict when it comes to following the rules of immigration. Most if not everybody here does not like it when people take advantage of the system because it has a negative effect on people doing the process the right way such as getting kicked back further in line.

An anecdotal story - My grandparent's lived in the Germantown section of Killadelphia. My grandfather had a heart attack and he and grandmom went to the hospital. When she came home the following night, she found that the house was burglarized. His guns were in a safe that was bolted to the floor. They managed to get it. He had 7 hand guns stolen. Maybe because it's a family member, but the measures he took I wouldn't consider them irresponsible.

and The convicted Felon with an illegal gun, who had already been busted once for carrying an illegal gun as a felon and was let go, started firing. The legal gun owner returned fire and the Felon stooped firing and left..
Here is what we can take away from your story
1.A seven time convicted felon who had already once been convicted of carrying an illegal gun,was on the loose with a gun..-Moral of the story--Enforce the gun laws we already have instead of making more new ones that punish law abiding citizens.
2.Despite breaking many laws and despite breaking the exact gun law that would have prevented him from having a gun, this criminal was still walking the street with a gun.
3. The lawful gun owner did not draw his weapon and use it until he was fired upon. Police said the lawful gun owner did not escalate the situation
4. Had the lawful gun owner not returned fire many more could have been wounded
5. The lawful gun owner was not charged
The gun rights people will not avoid this thread as predicted because it is a text book example of Gun Laws already on the books not being enforced and a lawful gun owner using his weapon only for defense after being fired upon.
This story brightly illustrates everything we have been saying in here
