What would be odd about applying for a K-1, if you want to now marry and live in the US? Proving you do not live in the US illegally is a good thing, and not something odd at all for a K-1.

You can always send stuff but you hopefully you don't expect they're going to cancel interview because of that ? It's unavoidable at this point. Why are you trying to avoid it so hard ? Look at the other month topics - people do get interviews there.

I agree. There is no reason to panic just because one is called for an interview. Please take copies of all the submitted evidence and new supporting documents, if any. Of course both the spouses need to attend the interview. Search and look at some of the old threads for generally asked questions at interview and prepare with your specific answers and it will help a lot.
Fellow August Applicants, going forward please provide your Local Office name from where you are getting your approval from and the Date of Approval. I will modify the list to add two columns - one of LO and other for the Approval Date on receipt of next approval. Your co-operation is highly appreciated.

Good for you. Let's first see how many of us get moved from one service to another. CSC is approving a few of June applicants whereas VSC is yet to. Basing on that our CSC applicants may start seeing approvals in November and the VSC applicants in December. Hopefully most of us should be done by the year-end.
