      No problem I am such an investigator person and just trying to get all information i can to form the best route to my visajourney. BUt oone thing I would say we Naija/African wives should do is all write our letters of concern over truly what I see is blatant discrimination. We compile them all duplicate and send the stack each to our State senators and the whitehouse. It's time to make some noise.

      I totally agree with you NigeriaorBust, he is a favorite here and "we" are not. Look what happened to me? I never disrespected anyone or insinuated that anyone was a bully or rude or obnoxious. All I said was he needs to apologize to Jenkatx for his comment!

    How are you holding up? don't get discouraged. After you have had time to heal and find the strength to go on, you will be able to find a way to be with your loved one.       dwheels76 thanks for the encouraging words. Through the speed bumps I have discovered that nothing can change true love. Only God is in charge of our destiny...not humans.

      I know you can empathize with us. And I agree with you, the CO was wrong! I am traveling to Nigeria the end of August to marry my best friend :) I know that I am not going to want to come back home without him. We will stay strong for each other and for everyone else who is going through this ordeal. Your words of encourgement are wonderful. Thanks :)

      Thanks BasseyAlexia for your comments. I feel for others, not just for my fiance and myself. It is important to learn and give back in this hellish process. The ones who have succeeded in their visas, I am elated for them. For the ones that have not been so lucky, I am advocating for all of us. God bless and may your travel be a safe and happy one.
