I wrote to my Congressman and within the two days that he sent out the letter to the embassy in Lagos, we got an answer that we have been rescheduled for the second interview. Coincident? maybe, but I think it had to do with the letter congressman sent. Good luck and don't stop asking for help, someone will put the right pressure eventually. God be with you.

Give it few more weeks and see what happens. I noticed you posted it on the Nigerian Portal which is good, there you will get great advice from others who went through the same thing. We are K-1 visa.

Don't give up if congressman doesn't help try your senators, keep after them until someone does help and listen. Good luck
