Not everyone against abortion is going to personally attack someone who has had one. I am sure some might do that, but I wouldn't. So while it's not my intent to attack anyone who had one, my views alone could be offensive enough to a woman who has had an abortion.
Even during my marriage of 6 years, we never have allowed a risky situation where I could become pregnant when we weren't ready for a baby (or another baby) by not using whichever form we chose as contraception. I don't take birth control pills either. I don't want to be on hormones. I can see it's an easy thing to happen to people and I know many people who didn't plan on getting pregnant or think they would during a moment where some form of contraception was lacking, possibly the only time it was lacking in months, even. But it happens all the time to people. Though, sometimes options do fail-it's not always the fault of not using a method of birth control. I know people who were on birth control or had tubals and still got pregnant!

Yes he is, notice the angle of the camera not being pointed directly straight at the map. I find it silly when people go to these kinds of insults. I am sure a different camera angle would make this even more obvious. People really think he wouldn't know where Egypt is? Please...find a better insult.

I don't believe that is what is being discussed here. Everyone (well, almost) knows what the laws are. However, people can disagree with the laws and have beliefs of their own that run contrary to those of the Supreme Court. I see no point in shutting down debate because of a law.
After all, if that's the approach we took we'd have to stop arguing about marijuana laws and prostitution laws and every aspect of the Patriot Act. The law is the law, after all - what else is there to discuss?

I believe that life begins at conception and that abortion is murder of a human being. With the exception of abortion to save the life of the woman, the point of abortion is to prevent a live birth of a human being. That's the bottom line, and that's why it's murder.

i've seen kids and babies with severe metabolic disorders, brain trauma etc, who are decidedly far less conscious than chimp babies. but that doesn't make them any less human.

a human zygote possesses the same genetic material that distinguishes it as being a ** sapien though. it possesses the human genome, the same as you or me. while there are developmental changes, that genetic material never changes. unless you have a different definition for what constitutes a human, other than genetic material? do tell.

Kavi turned 3 yesterday! It feels like his 1st birthday wasn't very long ago!

I thought it was too soon to buy him a gift like this, but my husband was really into it. And Kavi loved looking at the power wheels in the stores. One of his favorite things has been cars/vehicles, since before he could start saying words. So recently Suj asked Kavi which one he liked the most and he kept pointing to this one. He was first really happy that it was at his own backyard, then was scared to drive it for the first few minutes, but he slowly got the hang of it.

I can't tell you how sick I am of reading comments from people being very condescending towards those who hold religious beliefs in any form. I could possibly not care as much if I went around treating people like garbage on here because they don't believe like I do. I might understand it more then. But since I try to be calm in what I write, and some people like you around here want to be smug all the time and show how much better or more intelligent you are for not believing anything like that.
