We met through an online dating website April 2009. While there was an interest in meeting someone from a different country, neither of us thought that it would actually continue into a long distance relationship and engagement. Also, we didn't realize the redtape that it would take to get married, being from different countries. But we hung in there and the time was not as long was it felt! We were married November 19, 2011 and doing quite well!
Be sure that you and your intended are sincerely good friends. That will make going thru this bureaucratic #######, worth it! Makes one a bit pissed off at those who illegally get into our respective countries.
