Hi, we currently have a stack of 12+ inches of paperwork (photos, proof of relationship, I-134 documents, Relationship Timeline, all of the required documents, Family Tree, updated letters of intent, etc.) to give to the C.O. We know there will be a small slot at the window to handover documents to the officer. I know everything should be arranged according to Part 4 of the Packet 3 Instructions, but we weren't sure how to exactly do this. Do most people just put everything in the order that they want and hand over each document at a time? Give them one giant folder? Or should we split it all into 3 separate paper folders and hand them all 3 that way so that it fits through the window slot. Thank you!

We've ran into an issue due to ignorance of visitors visas. My MIL came to visit in order to see her grand-daughter born. She had been in the US for 5 months at the front of the year, and we brought her back early for a due date of Dec with the idea of having here just in case anything happens to cause an early delivery. Wasn't aware of the limit of time within a calendar year and assumed as long as she spent time back at home it wouldn't be an issue.... And we were obviously wrong. CBP hassled her at the airport and has limited her stay to 2 months. We're considering a few things. - Head home now and come back closer to the due date
- Extend her stay via USCIS, not clear the process for this, but we understand that this should be an option?
- See if we can convince her mom to go the green card route and do AOS.
Any advice?

Dear VisaJourney Community, I opened the I-130 since Dec 2019 for my brother (born in 1992) and his family (his wife-born in 1992, his daughter born in 2018, his son born in 2022). His family except his son travelled to the US in 2023. Now his whole family (all 4 members) is granted travel visa renewal. Today I saw in the online account, USCIS updated "Estimated time until case decision 16 months". Does it mean they are reviewing his case and will give the decision within 16 coming months? Anybody has experience regarding this notice? I have heard that is not good news since they will start counting the age of his children. And his case will still take 12-15 years more to process before his family can move to America. Thank you so much for your help!

Hi everyone, Thank you so much for helping me. I need your advice. I am the petitioner. I submitted my I-129F in May last year to sponsor my girlfriend from Vietnam. My I-129F was initially approved in February this year. Then it was sent to the NVC 1 month later. However, NVC returned my application back to USCIS for review. It has been almost 5 month of waiting. A couple days ago, USCIS reopened my case. Yesterday, I received a notice from USCIS. I attached the notice below. From my understanding, USCIS asked me to resubmit page 2 in form I-129F by 9/23. They lost my second page. I am not sure if I need an immigration lawyer to help me with this issue or I can handle this myself with the guy from immigration service I paid for. Please give me advice!
