US Immigration from United Kingdom

Hi

I've just had my medical and I've got my interview at the US Embassy in London on 7th May.

I've got all the documents together but I'm a little confused about the financial support evidence. Now the Embassy here page says there is no specific form for this but the i134 can be used. So, do I fill it out with my information or does my US fianc e complete it?

I will be job hunting as soon as I get my EAD and have enough savings to support myself for at least 8 months, though my fianc e works and earns above the threshold to support me. Should I/we use the 134 to show this or will print outs of my bank statements and her most recent tax return be enough? Thanks in advance.

I have posted on here before about the fact I am on a work sponsored E2 visa (work for a British recruitment company out here) and am marrying my US Citizen fiance. Am I right in thinking that once I get the I-765 Employment Authorization form approved that I am free to change jobs? Or do I have to wait until the Green Card is completely approved?

Apologies if this is not the best place to ask this question - I m visiting home for the first time in 4.5 years in June and I m wondering the best way to use my phone while I m home. I have Mint Mobile. They have an international pass within the app where you can buy packages which give you a certain amount of minutes, texts and data but it seems really expensive. Anyone have any suggestions for a cheaper alternative? My biggest thing is I will need data while I m there. I m there for 2 weeks.

My interview is tomorrow so I'm already nervous. I just got an email saying action was taken on my case and to log in, but when I log in nothing has changed and my interview is still listed as tomorrow. Any ideas what may have happened?

I recently received my CR1 Visa and am planning to enter the US to activate my Greencard and get my SSN in a couple of weeks (End of April), this trip was already planned before the visa was issued and will only last 10 days. I know that the stamp within my Passport will count as a temporary green card for 1 year so I can come and go, but I wondered when the US will consider me resident? I plan to move permanently mid June, the flight is all booked. But will continue to work and live in the UK up until that date.

I ask, as both myself and my spouse will continue to live in the UK until June, but I am aware that there is finite time to get Health Insurance after relocating, as well as 60 days to get a drivers licence. It could also mean I will be liable for US taxes from April rather than June, but not sure how that would work if I am still getting income in the UK.

Essentially I don't want to miss any deadlines, or create any undue problems for when we actually arrive!
