US Immigration from United Kingdom

Hi my husband flies into sfo soon on CR1, does he need to provide anything but his passport/visa? Thanks

I'm Esther, first time here and posting a forum post. I'll be short and sweet so I don't ramble on.

I married my husband in August of this year, he's from the US and I'm from England. We're in the process of submitting our CR1 visa, we're not in a major rush, we're been taking our time, working a bit on it every other day as he works full time.

We're at the part where you submit evidence. I was under the impression, after reading many Reddit posts online, you could submit as much as you want, name them appropriately so the reviewer would know what each image/file corresponds to etc.

It says here you can only submit 5 at a time, and they don't allow zip files. I had all my evidence in different folders in a compressed folder, ready to submit.

In this section, it says you can only submit 5 files at a time and they have to be .jpg .png. .pdf etc

How has everyone done this that makes it easy for the reviewer? We really want to get this right the first time and make sure all the evidence we submit will be enough (fingers crossed). Would it be better to add images of everything into a PDF and submit that? Would be curious to learn what others have done in this section to maximise how much you can submit.

(sorry, I guess I did ramble on in the end, haha).

Hi, please can anyone help me figure out what the phone call I received earlier today might have been about. I am the beneficiary for a CR1 visa application. I live in the UK and am a British citizen. I am currently DQ at the NVC stage, waiting for my interview letter. Earlier today I received a phone call from a UK number. The call started off with an automated voice message saying something along the lines of "This is US immigration calling regarding an urgent update on your case, please hold for a representative". It then put me through to someone who started talking, but at that exact moment I had to hang up as my boss walked in the room and began talking to me. They have not called me back since. I searched the telephone number online to see if anyone else has experienced the same or to see if it was a scam call but there are no results relating to the number. Could this have been a legit call from USCIS/NVC/CEAC etc. and a call I needed to answer regarding my case or was this a scam call? Any help would be really appreciated as I am worried I have delayed my case somehow by not taking this call. Many thanks.

do I always have to sign in to check when the system will allow me to upload docs etc (shows in process currently)... Or will I be notified in email to log in and continue??

I just paid the NVC fees yesterday

Hello!! We are new to this and just posted our i129f form (27th September).
Im looking for people in the same position or people who are slightly ahead to share experiences with.

I have no idea what to expect apart from the website says that currently at Texas the form I 129f is taking 15 months to process.
Does anyone know when we will hear something?
All I know is the envelope made it to the drop box because we sent it recorded delivery.

I guess now we wait and wait ..
