Case outside of processing - Transferred - Have to wait another 8 months!! HELP

We have been waiting since Feb 25th (PD) we got Nebraska. Our case went outside of processing two weeks ago, finally got a call back from tier 2 officer. He said our case was transferred in April to California. We asked why we had not received transfer notice or any update and they said its due to staffing issues and shortages. We have already been waiting for 10 months for our NA02 and now have the possibility of waiting another 8.5 months, I cannot take much more of this. They told us our case had not been actively reviewed yet, just transferred. So no one has even looked at it! We are perfect model citizens. No criminal records, never lived in other countries, no medical issues, both have great education and salaries. It makes no sense to me!! I try to compare but its so heartbreaking to see people months behind you get NA02 or embassy appointments within 6 months. Has anyone had success with contacting a senator for help? I am thinking to leave the UK and enter on ESTA and stay the legal 90 days just so we can be together. Does anyone know if this would affect my i130? I would obviously be quitting my job. Does it look bad if you are unemployed? Is filing for AOS an option? Any advice appreciated.

Immunization records issue in lead up to medical exam

My wife's AOS interview has been scheduled (we are waiting for the letter that gives us the exact date) and in the lead up we have scheduled her medical exam required for the I-693 form. We have that scheduled for December 21 and we were informed we need to bring the I-693 form as well as a record of her immunizations to the appointment.

Since setting up the appointment on Tuesday, we have been attempting to contact her GP and NHS to try to get ahold of her immunization records. In hind sight, we should have realized when she decided to adjust status that we should reach out about the immunization records, but it did not occur to us until it was mentioned on Tuesday. Unfortunately, we have gotten runaround by her GP (including getting an incorrect email address when her mom elaborated to the GP that my wife could not contact them in-person) and a representative at NHS alerted us that the records are likely destroyed due to how the NHS handles older records once a person turns 25.

We are going to contact the medical center in the US about this issue as it seems likely we will not be able to get records of her immunizations. However, I am reaching out here because I am wondering how this has been handled in the past.

Given this policy by the NHS, it seems likely we would not be the only ones to have run into this issue. If she has no immunization records, how will that affect the medical exam and adjustment of status? She does have the immunizations, but it seems unlikely she will be able to prove that via documentation.

Section 221(g) refusal due to medical delay (London)

Hi. I've been creeping this site but not engaging through the entire process, and today I (finally!) had my interview.

However, during the interview, the London embassy informed me that they had not yet received my Visa Medical results (appointment was 6 days previously) and so my application was refused under 221(g) until my results are received.

Having spoken to Visa Medicals just now by phone they assure me my results were transferred yesterday, but they said they'd email the embassy to follow up. Which is all fine, (although the woman on the phone said I should have stayed at the embassy to call them so I feel an idiot for not thinking of that) but ultimately my application has still been refused albeit temporarily, and I am pretty devastated. It's taken forever to get to this point and I finally thought I'd have a timeframe to work to, but now I am back in limbo.

Has this happened to anyone else here? Does it result in a significant delay in your visa processing and passport return? I know that it will ultimately be approved, but will this be a minor or a major delay? Not that knowing will allow me to do anything differently. I just, want to know :(

Hi, I thought I should start this thread since I was in in CR1/IR1 Appointment Updates but I need more information regarding children. My son is 14 years and was documentarily qualified on 17th August. However he was 13th when he was DQ which meant that he didn t need an interview appointment. However now he just had his birthday in November and now he is 14th. Does anyone know what sort of question they asked teenager? If anyone could share their experiences. We can use this thread to update one another our interview status. Thank you

Can I go early to biometrics appointment?

My biometrics for AOS have been scheduled for end of Dec. We were planning to spend the holidays with some of his family who live a little far out, and we don t want to come all the way back to Atlanta for the appointment.

I have read that you can go to the service Center on another date, as long as you have your biometrics appointment letter.

Does anyone know if this is still the case given covid? Or are they strict on appointment times now?

Thanks in advance!
