Hi All,

just to let you all know this, please be careful with this company. Use the express option and they ll ship your stuff via DHL. The cheaper option (Standard) is via UPS or FEDEX and i do not recommend that. Relocated to the US in Oct 2024, shipped all my stuff using the Express and all my stuff arrived safely by DHL. My wife shipped some stuff using the Standard and 2 suitcases are missing for over 1 month and now declared untraceable! My wife has been crying!

What happens if the embassy does not have the medical report at the K1 visa interview? (London)

Hi, I had my medical examination in London mid-December 2024, they needed a follow-up letter from my GP which I sent to them 3 Jan 2025 and the medical practice confirmed that they had printed off the information for checking.

My visa interview is scheduled for 4 Feb 2025 (i.e. 2 business days from now), and I received a phone call from the medical office today requesting the information I had already sent - seemed to be a mix up as they could see receipt when I told them, but this has prevented them from sending the report to the embassy which I was unaware of.

My question is that if the medical office does not send the medical report by the time I have my interview in a few days, despite me not being at fault given the time I'd left between the examination and the interview, what are the possible outcomes of the interview? E.g. is the CO able to approve conditional on receipt of the medical report? Can my case be put into processing for months? Other than this, it's a straightforward case and hoping to fly to the US end of March.

Thanks!

US Embassy visit required after Visa Medicals appointment (from 14th Feb 2025)

I just booked medical exam at Visa Medicals, a new notice is that from 14th Feb 2025, each applicant is required to visit US Embassy after their medical exam. This is separate from Interview appointment. This early appointment is for immigration staff to verify your civil documents, take biometrics and ensure your case is documentarily complete earlier.

This properly to reduce the time you spend for verifying documents on the date of interview OR we could spend more time for the interview (could be asked more questions? - hopefully it's not)

The document review is only between 12:00 - 13:00. So, ensure all original documents are with you after the medical exam to visit the embassy.

Traveling after DQ - need to update DS-260?

Hi all, hope this makes sense. I've been DQ'd and have an interview scheduled at the embassy in London for the end of March.

I've got a 10-day round trip booked to the US in February.

For my DS-260 I only needed to submit travel history to the USA. This will have changed by the time of my interview.

Do I have to update the travel history before the interview? And if so, how do I do that? Does anyone on here have any experience of doing so?

Looking online has been unfruitful so far - I've seen rumours that the CEAC "unlocks" days before your interview and you simply upload it then; I've seen other rumours that the DS-260 is timestamped so it doesn't matter if there any updates after. Neither seem right?

I reached out to Londoninfounit@state.gov which is the contact email on the embassy website, but I understand that they can be very slow or may not reply at all.
