US Immigration from United Kingdom

Hi everyone,

I have been given my IR1 Visa Interview appointment date, however the earliest medical examination appointment I could schedule wasn't until after my interview. I've tried to contact the Embassy to reschedule my interview, but I have been told that I cannot do this until I have missed my originally scheduled appointment.

Could someone please tell me if this is really the case? What is the likelihood I will be put to the back of the line in terms of rescheduling a new appointment?

Are there any countries that are doing interviews for eb3 that do not require you to be a resident or citizen of the country?

I am DQ'd in London but it is looking like its going to take another year for an interview so just want to know if there are any alternative choices?

I am desperate to get to the US to begin my internship that keeps getting pushed back due to visa appointment delays.

I'm scheduled for my interview at the end of October after waiting at DQ since Sept 2020. I am F11 Category (Unmarried Son of US Citizen Over 21).

I filed my DS-260 in April 2020 with the necessary documents.

Due to the length of time between filing the DS-260 and now, i'm currently trying to work out if i need to upload new documents eg Police Certificate/AOS/Tax Return/Passport Pictures(as they are now over 12m old) or if i can just simply take them to the London Embassy? Does anybody know the definitive answer? And if they need to be uploaded, where do i do that?

I haven't been instructed by the NVC or the Embassy that i need new documents but from reading a few posts on here it seems i will need them with it being over 12m since filing. I've got no issue getting them if needed but i just didnt want to turn up at the London Embassy and be denied because i hadn't uploaded them beforehand.

I've dropped a Contact Us form on both USCIS and the London Embassy and i have had no reply.

Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

My spouse already had the interview but didn't bring the right Police Certificate so they told him at the interview that he needs to send the right Documents via Consulate Courier after he gets the email with a barcode to give to the Courier. It has been two weeks and we have not received any email with any barcode for the Courier. Who can we contact regarding this issue?
