US Immigration from Thailand

Earlier today my wife passed the civics and english test. However, the interviewing officer told her she needed to provide "Record of Account" documents from the IRS and state for the last five years before her application could be approved. I'm having trouble putting this documentation together. The IRS only provides the "Record of Account" transcripts for three years, but they are requesting five years, so I had to provide the return and account transcripts instead. I'm not sure if this is the right documentation, does anyone have any ideas? As for state, we've lived in two states, neither of which offer any such transcript (online at least). Should I just provide tax returns for those years instead? I've currently been on hold with the California FTB for 2 hours, to see if they can help. I have an appointment with our current state, Colorado, tax office tomorrow as well. I'm just looking for some advice from other people who may have gone through the process. Any input would be helpful.

The boy is 10 YO in Thailand. My wife's daughter has to work and the boy is home in the village. We have been married in the States for 8 years and would be happy to adopt the kid and bring him over here.

I've spent some time researching and not getting far. We know another couple here who tried adopting from Thailand and they told me it's very hard.

A friend of ours, who has his green card and is married to a US Citizen, spends about 10 months abroad each year. He is on his 2nd green card I think. So he does come back each year for about 2 months. He is taking care of a family member over there.

The wording about residency requirements is a little hard for me to understand.

If anyone has some clarity on this, I'd appreciate the comments. Somewhere I got the idea that they had to spend at least 6 months a year in the US but I con't know where exactly I read that.

Well, it's been closing in on 14 months since I filed an I-824 to have my wife's I-130 moved from USCIS to NVC and still nothing...

The website is saying current processing times are 20 to 24.5 months for I-824. Do you think it is worth it to file a new I-130, or just wait out the next 6 to 10 months and hope the 824 doesn't get delayed further.

Also, if I file a new I-130, does that void the original?

My heart is sore as l write this.
I ve been in the US for a little over 2 months now on K1 and sadly our relationship seems to be stuck. A little backstory : we tried for a year and a half to get me a visitors visa and that failed, we were told to apply for a K1 instead. My partner has cancer so the process was painful. Covid was painful. He visited and stayed a month here and there and everything was perfect although some days he felt sick.
I love this man.
But since my arrival in the US he isn t the same person l knew for 3yrs. He s miserable, he s sick he s in pain and l do not know what to do at times. He snaps he yells at me he tells me everything is none of my business when l try to have discussions.
He also refused to discuss marriage. He said he would plan everything by himself.
He doesn t want to go anywhere, doesn t want to do anything as a family, he hates my daughter and constantly tells her how my nephew who s back in Africa is so much better than her.
He s a executive, work from home but doesn t do much which I thought was a great thing and we can get to spend time together. I woke him up after he d been sleeping a few days ago and he said if l do that again he will kill me.
constantly tells me he will send me back to Africa.
he hates that I am somewhat independent but doesn t want to assist me when l ask for anything.
my daughter got into school and she s been doing really well my heart breaks to pull her out and move back home but I feel l have no choice.
why do partners feel they can abuse the other just because they are the US citizen, I do not know if this is being caused by his cancer medicines or if he s just not interested in me anymore. Ps we haven t been intimate since l got here 2 months ago. He hasn t touched me in a sexual way and he hasn t shown any sort of affection. The most I ve gotten and managed to sneak in was a kiss on the lips like a little kid.
I went through his phone and he is in close contact and has phone sex with a certain ex.
I guess l don t really need any advice l just needed to vent.
