US Immigration from Taiwan

My wife just got her IR1, and we are planning to move to the US on Jan. 2024. As an LPR I know she has to file US taxes, as well as FBAR(as she has foreign bank accounts with more than $10k). My question is when does she have to start filing? Does she have to file right away(for year 2023)? or wait till the following year after arriving in the US to file(for year 2024)?

we filed the I-751 on 10/13, and received two notices last weeks.

(1) USCIS account set up notice (issued on 10/19)
(2) Notice indicating that they can use our fingerprint in the system (issued on 10/19)

But when we checked the USCIS account, there's also the green card extension letter issued on the same day (10/19) which we still didn't receive it yet.

Does anyone know if we can request that notice letter to send to us again? Can we travel with the notice copy download from the USCIS account?

My sweetie and I are currently living in Taiwan, neither of our home countries. My employer has an office here, and I was asked to take on a roll overseeing some things. We figured this was a good way to be together while waiting out this process.

We just began filling out DS160 and it asks where we will live in the USA.

I currently don't have a residence there, only a mailing address, though I am still paying taxes, and by definition, am domiciled in the USA.

What do I put for where we will live? My mailing address is my employer, so that seems suspect.

Can I use a parents address or will we run into problems?

For applicant's civil docs on CEAC, what does the item "photographs" refer to? What kind of photographs is to be submitted?

Haven't seen a thread for September filers so just create this. Filed N400 application online on 9/3/2023 and got Biometrics reuse and case being actively reviewed right away.
