Hi there
New to the community and appreciate all the resources here. I'm working on my I-129F and had a few questions:
- Part 1, Q27 (parent info). One of my parents is deceased. Should I specify that or just state their city / country of residence when he passed?
- Part 2, Q38 (info wrt beneficiary in the US). My beneficiary is in the US now but I will be submitting the I-129F after she leaves. The form says to fill out Q38 only if she is in the US - so I wasnt planning on filling it out, but the I-129F instructions for Q38 says to provide info for her most recent entry and doesnt specify if she still needs to be in the US or not. Any recommendation?
- Evidence of in-person meeting in the last 2 years. I'd like some feedback on the evidence that I'm submitting to see if it sufficient. I met my fiance on an online dating site 18 months ago and over the last year we've seen each other in-person over 7 trips (me visiting her or she coming to the US). For each of the visits I was going to provide:
- passport stamps showing entry / exit
- airline ticket invoice (we no longer have our boarding passes)
- hotel receipts
- 1 photo per visit. all photos were from a smartphone so the date is not on the actual photo but I am specifying in the evidence list when they were taken
I'm also including the first few messages we exchanged on the online dating site (screenshot)
In total this is 27 items. Is this more than enough evidence or anything else that should be provided? I looked at the RFE master list and saw some people providing the T&Cs for the online dating site to prove that the website was not a IMB. Those RFEs were from 2015 (there were no recent entries in the masterlist). I'm wondering if online dating is prevalent enough that these RFEs are no longer happening. We met on OKCupid
Thanks all for your feedback!
