What does "Underlying Petition" mean in I-485 page 4? I have H1b and applying I-485. Should I put my I-797 receipt number? and what does the "priority date" from underlying petition mean? Thanks!

Hello So I have a question about multiple petitions. a few years ago my brother (US citizen) submitted a sibling petition for me. This thing will probably take like ten years. this year my fianc and I submitted our I129F. We are still waiting for NOA2/RFE. is this going to be an issue later on? Should I ask my brother to withdraw the sibling petition? I just don t know if this is an issue as it may look like I m desperate to get into the US. Please advise. Thank you!!

Hi everyone, hope all are well. as we have been received our NOa 1 on july 3rd and currently still waiting for NOA2 result. It has been over 115days and knowing still would take a little while since the processing time is slow due to the Covid-19. Wondering if there is things or documents that we could started preparing while waiting for the NOA 2?? Feel like if there is something we could prepare ahead of time would ease the anxious of waiting. THank you all !!

My husband (USC) and I (immigrant ) are preparing docs for marriage green card aos. He has earning this year but he's currently unemployed. Earning this year is around $10000. I do have a job now and the income meets the poverty line but not sure if it will be qualified since it's F1 OPT income (have had some discussion on other threads on this and it seems that it really depends on the officer). In short, we are thinking to include assets if they don't accept my F1 OPT income. Can't find a co-sponsor either. What we have now is some cash in bank and stock. We have two cars (one under his name and one under mine). Is there any way we can use one of the cars (preferably his since it's worth more) to use an asset? And if so, what documents besides the car title do we need? Thank you in advance!
