Hello, my goodness what a stressful week it s been. Now that I m going back and looking at the documents my lawyer submitted, I m realizing there some huge possible errors. Well, here s another one: on the I-130 he listed her as unemployed. On the I-130a he listed her as employed with her current employer. Both documents were signed at the same time. Will we get RFE for this? Is there a way to correct it before we get RFE? I also noticed for the address in the I-130 and I-130a, I had tried getting him to put all the address we re together when we visited each other, even hotels. However he missed all but one, so there s only one address showing that we were together for less than a month. (We have some other evidence showing we were together at the other places together) I can t believe I trusted a lawyer would cross check things. Honestly, I feel like I do a better job at cross checking things and should have never left it in the hands of someone else. Anyways, will these two things, specifically the first one cause an RFE?

Hello, I m using this opportunity to ask two questions in one. The first one is more important, and perhaps a problem. We filed our I-130 in December 2021. I don t remember if there was a section asking if she previously applied for a visa to the United States. If there I was, I m quite sure I answered no (but is there even a place it asks that?). The reason I m concerned is because I totally forgot about a year before applying for her I-130 we had applied for a B1/B2 visa for her to come the United States. We had filed out a DS-160 for her, paid the fee, setup an appointment, but then cancelled the appointment since we decided to just visit each other in a third country. Is this considered an application? Furthermore, was there a place I was supposed to declare this in the I-130 or any other USCIS application/form? the second one question is: I m moving back to America next month after living abroad for 11 months. I kept my US address, paid all my normal bills there, and so on but just lived here. When I got back, it will be getting close to the time to apply for the NVC. Would I need to establish domicile if I just got back from living abroad? Thanks all for your answers! This just came to my mind about the B1/B2 visa and it s really scaring me!

Hello, I filed in December, 2021. I haven t heard anything from them (no transfers), and when I check the receipt number it still shows the same message that the notice was sent and they received my application. I ve seen some other cases on this forum that got an update that it was being reviewed only a few months into their case and they still have not been approved. My question is: is it usually an indicator of how far off your case is from being approved? Would it be a bad sign/an indication that it won t be the normal processing time if it still shows the notice sent message? What is your guy s experiences? Thanks

Hey guys. Sorry for the constant questions. I found this website and since have taken a lot of my questions and inquiries and brought them here. So please forgive me if I m asking things constantly. My wife s visa in Thailand has a mark on it from when an Immigration officer here in Thailand accidentally stamped the wrong date. He then used a sharpie to block out that date and stamped another date just above it. I know altering passports and visas is illegal, however would the US government/consulate have a concern and or problem with a date on a visa in my wife s passport literally being blocked out with a sharpie? Would an explanation of why that happened suffice if they even ask about it or would we need some kind of document from Thailand verifying that s what really happened? (Wouldn t even know how to get that to be honest) Thanks guys! You all are life savers.

Hi all. I just noticed on my I-797C that my wife s middle name is missing. It s just her last name then first (Last, First). Our I-130 was filed about 9 and half months ago. Will this cause an issue? Why would her middle name be missing (we used a lawyer, but I confirmed and looked over I-130 documents and her middle name was on there and correct on the I-130)? Is it too late to change it?
