Hello there! I never knew that such a helpful place existed, thank you for the help you offer to so many people. I don't know if you answer these types of questions, or if I am in a proper forum page for it, but here goes. I am a Spanish citizen that after two years in an online relationship, have decided to quit my job and plan ahead and spend all of my time and energy into finding a life with my significant other. This stay would be for 3 months, using an ESTA waiver (88 days), while I prepare medically at home (waiting times) to then make proper adjustments to go for a K-1 Visa or a working visa (I have a master's degree, so hopefully that'd help me out) in the future. The thing is, this relationship is with another man, and I don't know if I'll be undergoing discrimination in the interviews at the airport, or if I should say I'm staying with a friend, or with a significant other. Would you please give me some advice as to what to say at customs, or if I'd be okay with saying the truth (which is what I said up there). I've been told in the past that some friends were brought into customs for hours after barely mentioning they were in a gay relationship (it slipped in the 'where are you going to stay' questions) and it made me anxious as to what I should say. I am trying to inform myself as much as I can and this website has already helped me a lot before even making this post, so thank you for that already.

Hi everybody. BIG PROBLEM HERE NEED HELP We recently mailed out the package for 129F K1 filing including one money order from an overseas APO address to USCIS by USPS. For some ridiculous reasons it got detained in transit and not arriving the US and it's been almost two weeks. We filed a lost mail search request and a money order inquiry for refund, and just sent out a second copy of the filing including a new money order and it's currently on its way as we really want to start the process asap. We tried to contact USPS and the post office to have the first package returned to us and the money order refunded, but they've been very very helpful HA, telling us there's nothing they can do since it's an international military mail and it's not in the US yet. The USPS agent told us the package will still be sent to USCIS if found or finally scanned somewhere. (GOD KNOWS WHEN IT WILL BE) The problem is by that time our second filing package most likely will be delivered, new money order will be cashed and case received. My question is what would happen if another filing package is delivered to USCIS if they already received an application from the same couple and have their case registered? Is there a way I can ask them to send back the package directly to us if it's delivered? Or they will still open the package and cash the money order and some application error for our case will appear and affect the process? If anyone has similar experience or does know the answer please help us. We have been very stressed out these weeks, any suggestion is welcome! Many many thanks!! USPS SUCKS!

Guys, Here in VJ, the processing times (PD dates) are stated as follows, right now: However, when I go to the USCIS website, this is what I see (I personally am very confused as to which SC has my petition, so I'm posting times for both TX and NEB SCs): There is a big difference in the dates as shown: For NEB, VJ is showing December 13, 2020: USCIS is showing April 9, 2021. For TX, VJ is showing January 3, 2021: USCIS is showing October 19, 2020. Can anyone explain the difference? My PD is May 10, 2021, and I'm a USC. But again, I'm not 100% sure where my petition is, due to having received I-797s from both Nebraska and Texas.

Good evening, I am in the process of getting a date to attend my interview for the removal of conditions. Due to my baby getting constantly sick at daycare, my husband and I thought about quitting my job for now so that I can stay home with her. Would quitting my job affect in any way my removal of conditions? Thank you
