Just in case this information helps anyone in the future, I wanted to say that when my fiance took his printed out slip from ais.usvisa-info.com to Ecobank to pay the $265 (currently 165,000cfa) for the fiance visa, he was told by the teller that the numbers on his slip were not working. I emailed the usvisa-info help email and they got back to me in under an hour and told me I could generate a new number on ais.usvisa-info.com. That finally worked when we tried it about 24 hours after generating the first one, and he took the second number to the bank and was able to pay with that.

I need help please. l am a USC petitioning my wife to come and live with me in the US. However, in 20018 l provided an Affidavit of Support to a friend who won the Green Card lottery to immigrate into the US. How should l answer the question in form I-130 Part 5: Have you ever previously filed a petition for this beneficiary (my wife) or any other alien? Should l say Yes because l submitted an Affidavit of Support to assist my friend?

My husband and I have just submitted our documents to NVC and are now waiting for our case to be reviewed and get the interview scheduled.

I'm looking at what fees we have to pay next and am confused about the following two fees (if they're two separate fees, where you pay them, and how much they are).

The immigrant visa application processing fee for each applicant must be paid before his/her visa can be issued. Applicants whose fee has not been paid should be prepared to pay the fee at the interview or the visa cannot be issued even if the interview was otherwise successful. You should contact the U.S. Embassy/Consulate to understand what payment methods are acceptable.

We strongly encourage you to pay the USCIS Immigrant fee after you receive your immigrant visa packet from the U.S. Embassy or consulate abroad (including Canada and Mexico) and before you depart for the United States.

Does anyone know?

My spouse's petition has been approved, he has his green card and is living in the US. We are wanting to file for my stepkids now to come, but I have taken an overseas duty assignment for the next five years. Does anyone have any experience with this? I am on a work Visa in South Korea, but will return in approx. 2023 after this assignment. How would that hinder the process of the I-130 for the stepkids, if in fact it will. My spouse is working at a warehouse in the US to get some familiarity with US life and to have some work history, but he will be moving to Korea permanent in January 2020. Does anyone have any advice?
